TOP 5 AT SUMMIT. Shade has made history. We just placed in the top 5 for the FIRST TIME in fearless history. I can’t think of a better way to end our season.
At the beginning of the season, our team had 11 members. We were ready for battle and got a bid to summit and a golden ticket to US Finals at our very first competition. We then kept up with many other teams that gave us some really hard competition all year. We lost our sweet angel kyera byas, and it was a major setback for our team. We mourned her loss for a good while and it was so hard for us to compete again. We have missed her so badly and we have performed for her. We then added a couple extra members to our team to help us finish out. I’m so grateful for everyone who stepped up for our team. All the pain, sweat, tears, and stress, have paid off. Practices were hot, they were hard, and got so stressful at times, but it was all worth it. We knew coming to summit that we would have some tough competition, but we took that and ran with it. I never imagined I’d EVER be in the top 5 at summit. Little me would be so proud. Cheering for 13 years has had its ups and downs but this weekend showed what it’s all about. I am so thankful for everyone who made this season possible. And I can’t wait for the next one. We did it all for our angel this weekend. #4kb4l taken in Disney World by @ashlyn_grace2135
