Some clips of our PDC routine last Friday at @rawdogsport_psa trail. Versace did fantastically!!!! I’m so proud of how she performed given the bundle of nerves I was on the other end of the line. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in our training journey!! A special thank you to @lux.n.lethal for accompanying me to see this milestone through!! 61.5 OB / 88 PRO

Learned a lot and found plenty of training holes to address 🩶

TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ On the night of September 2, 2023, I experienced something that has greatly affected the trajectory of my life… I was violently attacked by an individual I was dating at the time, although the version of him that I knew was far from the truth. The initial video shows my first attempt to escape out of my own household through the side door. He catches me by my hair and yanks me back inside, strangles me unconscious and drags my body to the back bedroom of the house. I then woke up in complete shock, wandered to front room and managed to slip through the front door and take off sprinting down the street screaming for my life while he was sprinting after me. A neighbor came out and provided refuge from this predator. He immediately walked back to my house to call the police to lie. He was arrested and out on bail only a few hours later. A large part of him being unable to lie his way out was thanks to my camera system that caught glimpses of this nightmare. This was THE most terrifying thing I have ever lived through and had changed my entire relationship with the world. This individual has victimized several women.

I am beyond grateful for everyone who supported me, provided security and compassion, and assisted in my navigation of the justice system. Protection sports with my dogs have become the ultimate silver lining, not only strengthening the bond with my dogs but reclaiming my sense of safety.

If you or anyone you know is experiencing abuse, I along with many others are here to offer support 🩷 you are not alone, nor is any form of abuse OK.

Do not mistake kindness for weakness-

Huge shout out to @southpaw_k9_coaching and @cade_and_company7 for successfully introducing civil scenario work to Versace 🫶👹
