Dear God, You know the prayers I cried through when no one else could hear them. The nights I asked You for a man who would be gentle with my heart, steady in his love, and bring peace into my life instead of confusion. I prayed for someone who would make me laugh on the hard days, hold me close when I felt small, and love me in a way that felt safe and real.

I didn’t know when You would answer those prayers… and there were moments I wondered if that kind of love even existed for me. But You were listening the whole time. Quietly, patiently, writing a story I couldn’t see yet.

And then somehow, in the most unexpected way, You placed him in my life. In such a short time he’s shown me a love that feels honest, gentle, and full of peace. The kind of love I used to pray for with tears in my eyes.

Now I look at him and my heart is so full, because I realize… You didn’t just answer my prayers.

Do one thing a week that scares you. Try snowboarding after 7 years (the last time I ended up in the hospital…oops.)✅ “I did it all. I owned every second that this world could give. I saw so many places, the things that I did. With every broken bone
