I don’t know where to start. I have never felt this feeling before, losing someone so incredibly special to me. When I got the call, I couldn’t believe it, because how could you possibly be gone.. I just talked to you, you just dyed your hair, just saw your favorite band in concert…

You were a beautiful light in this world. Your life was never easy yet you were still able to find the good in each person you met. Even to those that never deserved your kindness.

You were like nobody I’ve ever known and I will now never know again in this lifetime. You changed my life in more ways than you will ever know. You were loved so deeply by me and my family; your second family. The bond you shared with Aleah and I and our parents is something that I don’t know if we will ever truly recover from. This pain is so incomparable, I keep thinking that you’ll text me back. To lose you is unbearable and a feeling I cannot explain.

I hope you know just how much I loved you and how grateful I am to have known you and even more so to be able to call you my friend. This world is beyond cruel and you did not deserve this. I wish I had known our margarita night would be the last time I would hug you, hear your laugh, see your smile because I never would have let you leave.

Fuck, I miss you. I would do anything to hug you one more time or to hear your laugh.
