Unreal

This season fulfilled every expectation I could’ve had and beyond. Becoming all-state in both the 1600 and 3200 was once just a dream, and it still doesn’t feel real that I get to say I accomplished it. After some really difficult seasons and a lot of mental and emotional lows, I made the decision to either let those moments define me or grow from them. I chose to put in more work than ever before, and through that process I became a stronger athlete and a stronger person. Every setback pushed me to become a new version of myself, and I truly believe those hard times are the reason I was able to have the best season of my life and get into the best shape I’ve ever been in.
This season was unforgettable, and I could not have done it without my coaches, teammates, family, God, and everyone who supported and believed in me through every high and low. The amount of love and encouragement I felt this year meant everything to me. I’m beyond grateful for this sport and everything it has taught me. Dayton, I can’t wait for what’s next 💙❤️ by @ashlynnlindt
