Drew, I thought I would feel more at peace saying goodbye to you yesterday but I find myself having more to say.

Two Thursday’s ago I waited impatiently, excitedly for your flight to land in SF not knowing you weren’t on it because you’d already passed days before. I hate that we weren’t able to spend one last weekend together. I keep replaying memories in my head. Looking through all of our texts and the photos I took of you. I miss all the game nights, outings, your sarcasm, our catchups over FaceTime, even that godawful cruise we went on.

I miss you, but I find comfort in knowing how loved you are by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing you, and that you always lived life to fullest. You’ll always be an inspiration to me. You truly did it all. I’m so proud of the man you were becoming. I can’t thank you enough for being my friend. I love you forever❤️ by @ashmwil
