A summer lobster roll was long overdue, which felt like the perfect excuse to visit @sailor.and.siren 🦞🌊

Grabbed their Sultry Siren, topped with uni + caviar, plus a hot dog with crushed chips. A pretty good way to close out summer, if you ask me.

One bite of the Miso Butter Cod hand roll and I knew I’d be back. @matsunori.handrollbar’s black cod was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Each hand roll was made to order and generously packed, with the house-made soy sauce adding a nice extra touch. Safe to say, I’ll be back the next time the hand roll craving hits.

A NYC classic! Snagged a walk-in seat at @minettatavernny and finally got to try the iconic Black Label Burger. I’m glad I came hungry because it’s definitely a filling one. I still made sure to save room for the roasted bone marrow, which added a savory touch and paired perfectly with the baguette.

I’ve been wanting to try @xie_bao_crabhouse ever since the crab roe with rice started taking over my feed, so I finally got to satisfy the craving while out in Flushing. Tucked inside a food hall, it’s a great spot for a quick & easy meal to share. The highlight was definitely getting to pour the crab roe over the rice (without spilling everywhere 😂)

Walked a few miles, earned a few handrolls 🤝

I’d stopped by @onigiri.tanakaya.nyc once before on my way to an improv show, so when I wanted a quick bite after an afternoon in the city, I thought it’d be the perfect spot to visit again. They have a great selection of both onigiri and handrolls that are fresh and generously filled.

I went with a mix of both and would happily order them again 🙂‍↕️

I’ll wait on any line for @mimis.ny ☀️ Growing up, I definitely had my frozen yogurt phase, & Mimi’s has absolutely reignited that love for me.

I always lean toward the tangier flavors, so the raspberry is my go-to base (though I can’t resist adding some of their signature tart, too). Then I just pile on the fresh strawberries & perfectly chewy mochi.

What’s your favorite froyo topping?
