Genuinely one of the scariest things I’ve ever done, but follow the link in my bio if you’d like to help out :)

All shares are appreciated too!

~~~~~~~~~~
hello, my name is Ashley and I’m kindly asking for your help.
For the last few years of my life I have put my energy into promoting events and working in the circles of queer nightlife and have neglected my own self quite a lot. Those close to me know I have started to transition, though I’ve never confirmed it publicly. I find talking about these things really difficult, as I know it could spark discussion about me amongst others.
in recent months, I’ve started experiencing gender dysphoria like never before. The effect this has had on my wellbeing is a major one - withdrawing from social settings and generally feeling like I don’t want to be here.
My current setback from medically and physically transitioning is money. I’m seeking help to provide me with gender reaffirming care - in the forms of laser, hormone replacement therapy and surgical procedures that would allow me to present external how I’ve always felt on the inside.
I work a full time job in nightlife, and every penny I make is spent on trying to live and assist myself in this journey. Though it’s not enough. I try my best to not ask for help from others as I know the world we live in is stupidly expensive now. This is a huge ask, and I am thankful for anything that may be able to be donated.
As an offering, I have also been planning a fundraiser, which will be held in Manchester in the coming months. Details TBC.
Thank you for taking the time to read this x by @ashtylr
Into the world of Ashley
Promotional photoshoot for her upcoming transition fundraising event - tickets now available on RA (link in bio)
Not many people know this but Ash was one of my dream collaborators on my work wishlist this year and I can’t believe this is happening - so doing one singular poster isn’t enough. I was so mesmerised by her charm and beauty to the point that I even took 4 buses back and forth to Stockport to get the garment, or came to Tom’s house at 11pm just to pick up the backdrop - and it’s all worth it!
Make sure Sept 19th is clear on your calendar so everybody can come to the fundraiser, help a girlie out on her transitioning, dance to some real good music, meet some hot people, and have a fun night <3
Creative/Art direction: @_kwangdat_ from @pretty.in.optical and @ashtylr
Photography and Lighting: @citruslot105 and @bobobobobobgo (I love you guys soo much)
Styling by: @_kwangdat_ and @ashtylr
Garment from: @tchotchkebox_ @isadora_couture (Thank you for your beautiful garments) and Ash’s own closet
Thank you to @tom___har_ for helping us out with the studio backdrop! by @ashtylr
