We celebrated Lainey turning 3 months old at the beach with our framily. (Thankfully we made it home before hurricane Isaias 😥) A beautiful week spent slowing down, enjoying our surroundings, and being with some of the people that fill our cup.

She did great on the road trip! To mommy and daddy’s surprise. Her first road trip, her first hotel stay, and her first of MANY future beach trips. Pretty sure we have a water baby on our hands. 🌊☀️👙🏖️🦀

A little late to post ~ o n e m o n t h ~

Our sweet Lainey girl has hit her birth weight and has kept us on our toes since she came home to us. 💝

She is loved by many and we are eternally grateful to our village that continues to support us, as a family of 3. ❣️ by @ashvegas2289

Lainey Carmen Wilmsmeier
Born at 5:40pm | 6lbs 12oz

In a dramatic fashion, this little princess entered the world and fooled all of our doctors and nurses with her labor behavior. I advise you ask her Daddy to tell her birth story, he does it justice.

I can not praise my doctor and nurses with Mercy STL, enough. I wouldn’t have learned to breast feed or gain confidence on being a momma without those strong, caring and empathetic women supporting me those first few days in hospital.

We have never known a love like this, and I will be forever grateful to my sweet Lainey girl for choosing me as her momma. My heart is beyond full watching mi papi care for and love our child.

I waited to start my family and become a parent; this feels so surreal and scary and amazing and wholesome. Thank you, God.

This is the very first song I played for my babygirl while we were recovering together and Daddy was telling her grandparents that she was here. 💝🥹🥰🫶🏼

Two beautiful showers for Baby W. One hosted by my ride or dies and the finale hosted by my loving MIL, aunts, and cousins on the Wilmsy side.

Excitedly (anxiously) awaiting Baby W’s arrival with lots of walks, time w friends & family, and trying to slow down while also speeding up time. #waitingonwilmsy @goldenglowstl @ericatriplettphotography by @ashvegas2289

We’ve been celebrating you turning 40 for the better 1/2 of this year. And of course I didn’t get a picture of the birthday boy on his actually bday (April 11), but life be life-ing, man.

We’ve vacationed with friends, spent time with family, are planning to grow our little family and have made memories to last a life time.

I’m so proud of how you take care or yourself, prioritizing your needs, your health, our relationship, and our future. I’m beyond excited to watch you become a daddy. You take such good care of me, that I have full confidence in the man that you are to guide our family. Thank you for simply being you. Salute. I love you, Papi. 🔥🫶🏼🎊🎁😘😍
