The North end of Kootenay Lake, and the Argenta Creek Fire.

Photographed last night (July 21st), as of today this fire is currently listed at ~400 hectares and is burning above the community of Argenta (the lights of which can be seen along the base of the mountain) within the steep terrain of the Purcell range. taken in Kootenay Lake by @ashvoykin

Last weekend’s annual September trip into the alpine, this time with a new gear addition. Stoked on the new @roamifycampers setup!

Getting to the locations I care most about usually involves time driving on dirt, camping out, and waiting for the light to change. Swapping from sleeping in the front seat of my truck, or a tent on the ground, to sleeping up high in my Dual Wedge camper is a game changer. I can’t wait to see what adventures this Fall season brings!

Very excited to share that this image is a semi-finalist in @theillumeawards, within the Snow category.
This early morning in the Rossland Range was such a special moment in the mountains close to home, and I’m grateful to have it selected from 15,000 images worldwide.

After enjoying the sunrise on the ridge and watching the first light of day hit the slopes of Old Glory, @kole_harle found the perfect feature to air off on our descent. Stoked! taken in Rossland, British Columbia by @ashvoykin

Spatsizi Magic

The northern lights put on a special send off last night, to close out just over a week spent at the @spatsizilodge here in Northern BC. Grateful for the time I got to spend here seeing the lakes and mountains that make up the Spatsizi Plateau Wilderness Provincial Park, join in on fishing for Rainbow Trout in pristine waters, and getting to capture this incredibly remote part of the province.
