I forgot my sketchbook on a 52-hour long train journey from Bangalore to Delhi. But Blinkit @letsblinkit , ‘India’s last-minute app’, came to my last rescue.

The train should have reached in 45 hours, but it was 7 hours late. So it took 52 hours total. Those who know, know there’s nothing to be surprised about.

Okay, coming to the point, it was a last-minute plan, so I got a Tatkal ticket. In the rush to pack, I forgot a few things — including my sketchbook. Only after getting into the train did I realize I took the sketch pens, but not the sketchbook. There was a moment of silence when I thought about the length of my journey.

But to my surprise, I had a Blinkit paper bag with me, since I’d purchased some snacks for the trip just minutes before leaving. And that paper bag had a very nice outline drawing on it, which I could color. Finding that was such a great relief.

Yeah, a thoughtful package from Blinkit helped my boredom survive. Thanks for the surprise canvas.
