The village of Vellinezhi situated in Kerala, one of the southernmost states in India, is famed for two things. One, it’s captivating landscapes and two for being the native place to one of India’s finest percussion experts who played a crucial role in bringing Kerala’s indigenous instrument Chenda to global stage, Padma Shri Mattannoor Sankarankutty.
Padma Shri Mattannoor Sankarankutty’s life and never ending efforts to promote culture and tradition through his music and to preserve them by passing on the knowledge to the next generation is a sheer example of human will to preserve his roots and keep alive the devotion for music that has been persisting within his family for generations.
This documentary is an effort to explore the scope of traditional art forms in today’s contemporary society and to establish the connection of nature with human life through the natural rhythms hidden in sounds that we come across in our daily life.

Your silence is makes you voiceless. But remember It takes away your kids right to speak in their time.

Youth deserve to be seen, heard, and valued not left to inherit a future stripped of. rights of a citizen education, health system , job opportunities , at the moment we don’t even have clean air, clean water, and healthy ecosystems.

When decisions about our natural resources, education, and essential services become increasingly centralized, it’s worth asking who benefits and who pays the price. If food systems become less diverse and more dependent on a handful of suppliers, communities can become more vulnerable.

A nation is not built by controlling its people—it is built by empowering them.

Question. Speak up. Participate. Hold those in power accountable. Democracy depends on informed citizens, not silent spectators.

The future isn’t something we inherit by chance. It’s something we protect together.

We humans made a big mistake electing these fascist by @ashwinkoushan
