Golden Ultra 3 day stage race!!⛰️

Stage 1: 5km, 1061m elev gain
Stage 2: 60km, 2569m elev gain
Stage 3: 16km, 552m elev gain

Such a lovely race weekend! We’re stoked to have been able to run this killer race two weeks after Whistler 100k! Now time to rest the body and get scheming for 2027! 😛

Ultra Trail Whistler 100k!!

105km | 5280m elevation gain

Such an insane experience and introduction to longer-distance ultra running! Emma and I have wanted to tackle this distance for a while, so I’m amped that we finally did it!

When our original race, Fat Dog, was cancelled due to wildfires, we were forced to change direction. After months of training and mentally prepping for one race, it was definitely tough to accept. We decided Whistler was the best fit to still achieve our goals.

Overall, I’m so stoked with how it went! We felt great, had no major issues, and finished the second half super strong. There were a lot of unknowns going into it, which honestly just added to the excitement!

This race taught me that ultra running is definitely a team sport. Huge thanks to Xander and Jaxon for crewing us and making every aid station transition so smooth. Thanks to @_keaganhughes for helping me build strength all winter and big thanks to @reneruns for putting together a killer race strategy and supporting us through the tough times. And of course, thank you to my mum and family for endlessly supporting all of my crazy ideas!

Biggest thanks to Emma, because I genuinely wouldn’t want anyone else by my side for this. 21 hours of running, climbing, suffering, and somehow still having things to talk about lol!

I’m so grateful to be able to run this distance and push myself both physically and mentally. So excited for what’s next!! taken in Whistler, British Colombia by @asia_borg

Tour du Mont Blanc complete!
