I AM DREAM HER: IN THE MAKING ✨

What if we took a moment to discover who we are beyond our circumstances?

Beyond the labels.
Beyond the expectations.
Beyond the things we’ve been through.
Beyond the version of ourselves we created just to survive.

Who are we at the core?

Through the Dream Her Experience, we create intentional spaces for girls and women to heal, build, and dream beyond their circumstances.

With the support of our amazing partners, we’re bringing together art, wellness, reflection, and self-discovery to create an experience where participants can explore their stories, express themselves creatively, reconnect with who they are, and begin imagining who they are becoming.

Because sometimes, the greatest discovery isn’t finding something new.

It’s remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.

So much of the work we do happens behind the scenes and often goes unnoticed, which makes moments like this even more meaningful. I am truly grateful for your acknowledgment and for taking the time to recognize the impact we are making.

@noir.edu_ The Bridge Between Identity and Becoming. 💕💐

Instead of asking our girls and women, “What do you want to be?” — what if we first asked them, “Who are you?”

That was the heart of my presentation: HER PATH, HER POWER, HER LEGACY — Remembering Whose We Are Through Identity, Healing & Visioning in Black Girlhood.

So often, our girls, particularly first-generation girls, are asked to think about their next steps while they are still in survival mode, fighting to navigate today. Before we ask them to envision their future, we must create space for them to understand who they are, honor their stories, heal, and build the confidence to become who they are destined to be.

After years of doing this work since earning my Bachelor of Social Work in 2016, I am finally embracing the confidence to share not only my experiences but also what I have learned through working with girls and women as they navigate identity, healing, and becoming.

Y’all saw the vision boards, but GOD saw something bigger! 🙌🏾✨

What an incredible experience to be in a room with Black educators, sharing strategies, lessons, and insights gathered throughout my years in the field. This was more than a presentation; it was an opportunity to connect our lived experiences, professional knowledge, and collective responsibility to pour into the next generation.

Because our girls deserve more than conversations about what they will become. They deserve the space to discover WHO THEY ARE along the way. 💕🌱

Here’s to honoring her path, empowering her power, and protecting her legacy.

Since Coronation was this past Sunday, I wanted to give you a glimpse into one of the proudest moments of my life at Delaware State University. 👑❤️💙

A hood baby became a University Campus Queen. 👑✨

But this moment was about so much more than a crown.

It represented transformation.
It represented hope.
It represented legacy.
It represented dreams that once felt bigger than my circumstances.

Delaware State University became a place where I discovered pieces of myself I didn’t know existed. I grew, I healed, I found my voice, and I began to understand that where you come from does not have to determine where you are going.

From a little girl navigating circumstances she never chose, to a young woman standing on the campus of an HBCU with a crown on her head — this was a moment I will forever treasure.

And now, years later, I can look back and see that the girl who once dreamed of becoming more was already becoming her.

A hood baby. A campus queen. A first-generation college graduate. A dreamer. A woman still becoming. 👑✨

This is my Delaware State University story — a story of hope, legacy, transformation, and dreams.

And during this Homecoming season, I’m honoring every version of me that had to believe before she could see it.

A WIN WEDNESDAY!

Happy to share another win for Ultimate Destiny & Dream Her Signature Programs! We officially secured a contract for this semester to provide monthly programming at a college!

This opportunity allows us to continue doing what Dream Her was created to do empower, encourage, and pour into girls and women through meaningful experiences that support their growth, wellness, confidence, and future.

Through Dream Her Signature Programs, we are continuing to expand our services through speaking engagements, workshop facilitation, girls & women empowerment programming, wellness experiences, and encouragement centered services.

Every room we enter is another opportunity to remind HER:

✨ Her story matters.
✨ Her voice matters.
✨ Her wellness matters.
✨ Her dreams matter.

And we’re just getting started. 💕 Same mission. Bigger platforms. Greater impact.

ThrowbackThursday 👑❤️💙

Me being Campus Queen, Miss Senior, at THEE Delaware State University! 🐝

In the beginning, lol, who would’ve known the impact I would make at DSU — especially because I didn’t even want to go! 😂

But look at how everything came full circle. Delaware State became so much more than a college experience for me. It became a place where I found my voice, discovered more of who I was, stepped into leadership, and planted seeds for the work I’m still doing today.

And now… 10 YEARS?! 🥹❤️

From Miss Senior to becoming an author, social worker, entrepreneur, speaker, and creating spaces for the next generation of girls and first-generation students to dream beyond their circumstances.

One thing about me and DSU…

WE GO TOGETHER REAL BAD! 😂❤️💙🐝

10 years later, and the legacy continues.
