Recap of the Dubai muscle show.
It's been a couple of days now, and my feelings and emotions are settled. This was quite a journey for me.
Since February, I went through stages of caloric deficit and surplus. Through all these stages, I intended to push heavy weights and try to build up as much muscle as possible. Im very happy that competition is finished, and that I presented my best look ever on the stage. Now is the time to grow more, physically and mentally. Work towards my goals and stay on track. I'd like to use this opportunity to thank my coaches who have been there for me in every possible way. It is important to have people you can trust so you can surrender into process completely. @tarik.secicfitness

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING 💛

GLUTES & HAMSTRINGS - SATURDAY SESSION

New gym, no rush, and almost two hours to actually enjoy my training today.

The main focus was glutes and hamstrings, starting with the heavy work while I was fresh:

🔸️Heavy Hip Thrust
🔸️Heavy Machine Good Morning

Once the big lifts were done, I shifted the focus to unilateral work, something I personally love including for better control, stability, and making sure each side is actually doing its share of the work.

🔸️Single-Leg Leg Press - glute bias, foot placed higher on the platform
🔸️Single-Leg Romanian Deadlift
🔸️Single-Leg Glute Kickback

Finished the session with:

🔸️Weighted Hyperextensions
🔸️Reclined Leg Abduction

Heavy first. Unilateral work second. Isolation to finish.

Not every workout needs to be two hours long. Most of mine definitely aren’t. But when it’s Saturday, I have the time, and I’m training in a new gym… I’m taking full advantage of it.

Quality work, good execution, and absolutely no rush today. by @asja_pt_dxb

If it doesn’t bring me joy, peace, money, or a good fucking time — the answer is NO.

Don't fall for every "3 cm glute growth in 2 weeks" claim.

I measured my glutes before my workout and immediately after. The result? +3 cm.
Does that mean I built 3 cm of muscle in one session? Absolutely not.

What you're seeing is called the muscle pump. A temporary increase in muscle size caused by increased blood flow, fluid and glycogen being stored inside the working muscles during and after training.

This makes your muscles look fuller, feel tighter and even measure larger for a few hours.
A muscle pump is temporary. Hypertrophy is permanent.

Real muscle growth happens when you consistently challenge your muscles with progressive overload, recover properly and eat enough to support adaptation. That process takes weeks, months and even years. Not one workout or two weeks.

Enjoy the pump, but don't mistake it for permanent muscle growth. Train for long-term results, not social media promises. 💪 by @asja_pt_dxb

73 kg ➝ 65 kg
4 Months of Consistency
February 8th ➝ June 7th

The scale says -8 kg, but the real story is much more than just weight loss.
Over the last 4 months, I focused on creating sustainable habits rather than chasing quick results. During this phase, I trained 3 times per week with weights and kept my daily activity high with 10,000 to 15,000 steps every day.

What many people don't realize is that when you lose weight, you're not only losing body fat. Along with the fat loss, I also lost a noticeable amount of muscle mass. That's completely normal during a calorie deficit, especially when the goal is significant weight reduction.

Now it's time for Phase 2.
My focus from now until the end of August is not getting lighter, it's getting stronger.
My goal is to build at least 1 kg to 1.5kg of lean muscle mass, improve my overall shape, increase strength, and create a more athletic, defined physique while maintaining the body fat I've worked hard to lose.

This is exactly why I always tell my clients:

👉 Weight loss is not the finish line. 👉 The goal isn't to become smaller. 👉 The goal is to build a healthy, strong, capable body that you can maintain long-term.

Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle building, body recomposition, or simply feeling better in your own skin, the process always comes down to the same thing:

Consistency beats perfection.

If you've been thinking about starting your own transformation and want guidance, accountability, and a plan tailored specifically to you, I'm currently accepting new clients for:
✔️ 1-on-1 Personal Training
✔️ Online Coaching
✔️ Customized Training Programs
✔️ Nutrition Guidance by @asja_pt_dxb

Your "NORMAL" day is someone's DREAM. Be thankful for everything you have.
