Three years ago, at the age of 46, I effectively retired from Real Estate. I decided to get out of the rat race and work and live a life with grace and ease. Since then I have been a spectator watching what seems like a never ending circus, filled with fake real estate moguls, deceptive businesses and con-preneurs who have mastered the art of making “fake” and “deception” look real. Even with all the knowledge that I have acquired as a philanthropist and successful business woman, I still was not immune from being misled by the deception of others. From investing and partnering with other developers whose businesses were not as they portrayed; by con artists masquerading as civil rights attorneys who exploit their platform and victims only to enrich themselves in the name of social justice; from working with companies that tout their dedication to Equity and Inclusion when their track record of abusing women and discriminating against people of color speaks the opposite. Each time I believed the hype, and began to ask… where are the good people, friends, agents, etc? So many of us are buying into characters and not character. I have been planning my move to Panama!

However, it has been said that “To Whom Much is Given, Much is Expected”. Even though I never intended to play in this circus, I can’t continue to be a spectator while the world burns, especially my industry. I believe we are either part of the problem or part of the solution!!! Thus…I’m re-entering the arena!! I’d love to grow with “Realionnaires” - Authentic genuine people of substance who are all about keeping it REAL.

A property can be beautiful and still be the wrong decision.

When I work with buyers, I encourage them to look beyond the excitement of the purchase and think about the position that purchase puts them in.

Ask yourself: Where does this property put me five years from now?

Consider the cost, the potential, the equity, the lifestyle, and most importantly, the options it may create—or limit.

The right property should support the life you’re building and give you room to make your next move.

Don’t just buy the property. Buy the right position.

The truth about wealth.
There were seasons when I earned $100,000 a month. Years when I earned millions.

But these past few years have cost me more than any balance statement could ever explain.

People I loved. Friendships I trusted. Financial security. Support I thought I could count on.

I’m still navigating through some of those lessons. Today, I have less liquidity than I can ever remember having. Yet, I am wealthier now than I’ve ever been.

This truth surprises me and woke me up to a pleasant reality. Wealth can’t be seen or determined through the balance sheet, the brokerage or bank statements. Wealth is WHOListic. Our desire to build income and cash flow is ultimately for peace, purpose and prosperity. FREEDOM! SO WHY NOT FOCUS ON THAT?

You can look at my pictures and see me enjoying life and have no idea what I’m carrying—or the battles I still fight daily.

The joy you see is real and So is the grief.

Wealth means something different to me now. And real wealth is worth more than gold. Peace is priceless and you couldn’t pay me to give it up.

Peace that lets me rest.
Purpose that gives me a reason to rise.
People with whom I can be vulnerable with.
The freedom to be me!

And a God who carries me through!

Financial security is still part of balancing overall wealth. I know what it does—for my family, for others, for the work I’m here to do.

Most measure wealth by the amount of money. Wealth is also measured by the ability we have and use to live freely, unrestricted and uncontrolled by money.

The 1st questions people ask in the U.S. “Who are you”, “What do you do”, “Where do you work”. I’m asked these questions a lot. My answers, “I’m a daughter of the Most High God.” “I work for God”

And what do I do? “I LIVE LIFE FREELY!” …And help people build and navigate sustainable ecosystems that empower their visions and allow them to live a life of peace and prosperity.

Sometimes that means building a home or a business. Sometimes it means helping someone see possibility and create the blueprint for them to succeed.

I am grateful for every new moment and connection with people who are using their gifts to make a positive impact.

My prayer is that God use me to make someone’s life better because our paths crossed. 🌹Divine connections only! 🌹

I love being used to make an impact as an influencer to the influencers. Expanding the vision of the story tellers. Shot out to the supporter and people who create and build offline and in real life. Look what God allowed us to build this time. 🥹🌹 A National Tour for youth!
Watching these young people celebrate at the Motivating the Teen Spirit Dallas graduation made every planning call, late night, and moving piece worth it.
I poured my vision, my heart, and my organizational leadership into bringing this experience to life in Dallas. Seeing it come together—with so many people giving their gifts—was beautiful.
We don’t always get flowers for the work people never see. Today, I want to give flowers to the earth angels who use our lights to help others shine.
I’m grateful that God uses me to lift others, support people who inspire the world, and help create spaces where our young people can discover their own light.
This is the heart behind my nonprofit, @builttodogood It’s also a part of me I want to share more often.

Whew. If there were ever a scripture for this season...THIS is it!

Proverbs 14:15 stopped me this morning: “The simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps.”

We live in a time when a video can look real and be completely fabricated. A headline can travel around the world before anyone asks whether it’s true. An influencer can sell a lifestyle they don’t actually live. And sometimes we’ll question the authentic person while believing the perfectly scripted online character.

We have more access to information than any generation before us—and perhaps a greater responsibility to actually think, analyze, process and develop discernment.

Everything viral isn’t valuable.
Everything popular isn’t true.
Everything polished isn’t authentic.
And everything you disagree with isn’t “fake news.”

AI is an incredible tool. Social media is an incredible tool. Influence is an incredible tool.

But tools should never replace human consciousness, character and integrity.

Before you repost it, research it.
Before you repeat it, question it.
Before you support and elevate them, watch their fruit.

And before you allow something to shape your thinking, give thought to your steps.

Maybe one of the most important skills we can teach ourselves—and our children—in this new world isn’t how to consume more information.

It’s how to discern what deserves to be believed.
