There’s very title a giant salad-topped chicken schnitzel, custom printed espresso martini, or gosh darned chalice of jus can’t fix. Good thing @steakyarddallas has all that and more during their new lunch service. Plus $1 drinks. Do not sleep on one of the best new lunches in town.

This ode is a bit delayed since our anniversary was 9/2, but it took me a while to dig up some of the most 🤌classic🤌 Mr Food Bastard cameo moments. Despite no fine Italian lady part glassware being safe around you, I’m the one grateful you’ve continued putting up with my bullshit. If I’m completely honest, I do miss the time after 9/11 when we were united. Before the constant connection of digital tethers pulled us further apart from each other.

The horrific acts of terror on that day shook us to our cores and revealed an evil in the world that’s very much still alive in Islamic extremism.

May those who stand up against it, who try to bring kindness, understanding, and peace to this broken world in big ways—yes—but even in the smallest ways—never stop. And never forget.

THE ÉLEPHANTE IN THE ROOM. Oh I went there. @elephante hosted an insane opening party complete with epic swag, an iconic special guest performer, and the most drop-dead gorgeous displays of vegetables I’ve ever seen. 🍅 If some were missing because they were in my gift bag at the end of the night …no they weren’t. 🍆

The food we tried was really delicious, and I’m honestly looking forward to finding out how a typical dining experience unfolds at Élephante. 👀 taken in Dallas, Texas by @askfoodbitch
