Do you see the smile on that chick?!?
I was hoping to run in the rain, but couldn’t get out in time. I found my favorite trail loop and did it a handful of times. It felt so good to get out and just let go.

It’s been a hell of a process and I know it’s not over. With that being said, I am proud to say that today.... well today I fell in love. I fell in love with myself. Crazy how great this feeling is. Now if you will excuse me, I’m going to go pamper the hell out of myself. 😉

Take a moment and look around. The simplest things can bring the greatest sense of peace. Control what you can, and leave what you can’t. Who knew that bubbles could be so therapeutic.

Heard a great message this past Sunday @southlandcity - getting kids involved in donating. I immediately started to think about how we could get Jackson in the giving spirit. We took a cleaned out Monster can (because they are big and let’s be honest sometimes Monster is life) applied some duct tape decoration and turned it into his church piggy bank. Whenever he puts money into his own piggy bank, he also puts some into his church piggy bank. He knows that when it gets filled up, he gets to bring it into church when we go and give it. Reflecting on what I am grateful for while out on the trails. I am grateful that my drive is more powerful than my excuses. After months, and I mean months, of not making the necessary time to get out and run, I finally got my ass out there. I am also thankful for the t-shirt sleeve trick I learned with my sister.
