When I saw the flyer for @ravencnole Prophetic Incubator, I knew I had to be in the room. God had already connected me with most of the women speaking through @AllureLuxuryBraiding, but I can’t even get all the way into that. Just know our business is ministry.

Honestly, I didn’t sign up because I thought I was called to the prophetic. I simply wanted to support the women God had placed before me. Not realizing God had something for me, too.

I believe God put me in that room to show me what I’ve been carrying without fully understanding it. Knowing I’m different. Knowing I stand out EVEN WHEN I’M PURPOSELY HIDING. Feeling like there’s something inside of me, but not knowing how to name it.

And finally getting the answer I already knew deep down.

He put something inside of me that wasn’t meant to be explained to or understood by everyone. I don’t have to make everyone understand it to be obedient to Him.

He made me different on purpose. And He showed me that family, faith, and entrepreneurship can live together.

This conference in itself is an answered prayer. 🙏🏾 I’m free, and I thank God.

I’m still finding the words, but one thing that made this time feel different happened when I got home. Both days, my husband asked me, “What did you learn today?”

Such a simple question, but it meant everything. He wanted to hear what God was showing me. If you know our story .. if you know what we’ve been through .. you know why that means so much. To know that he’s invested in my faith journey, too… that’s something I don’t take lightly.

I’m coming home with more than notes. I want what God reignited in that room to show up in how I live, love, build, and obey.

As our Rock Kids step into middle school, we want them to feel that they’re stepping into a NEW LEVEL! 💫

They’re growing, maturing, and entering a new season, and we believe they deserve a space that reflects that growth!

So, we’re creating something JUST FOR THEM! A place where they can connect, build friendships, grow in their faith, and feel like they belong!

God told me Reggie was my husband when we were in college. Back then, I didn’t have the relationship with God to recognize His voice—but I remember how clear it was. I ignored it and finally gave Reggie a chance two years later.

After everything we’ve been through, I’ve questioned that moment. “Was that really You, God? Did I hear You right?”

Now, standing on the other side of so much, I can say, “It was nobody but God.”

Being young and married has come with real marriage struggles. We’ve had to pray, grow, take accountability, rebuild trust, and choose each other again. And God has been working in both of us through it all.

This is part of our marriage testimony. Black love, faith, and two people learning what it means to build a God-centered marriage.

What God has for you is for you. But when you say yes to Him, you don’t get to decide exactly how the journey will look—or how He’ll use your story.

Here we are, saying yes together. 🤍

On the outside, it looks like the description does not fit…
But that is exactly why He put you there and not Miss Checks All the Boxes.

We are usually never comfortable in the thing He call us too. But simultaneously, it is where we find most comfort. Why?

We are forced to seek in Him in the uncomfortable so that He can be our source of comfort, refuge, love.

You have full and complete ACCESS to The Source. Act like it!!

What You Do Wednesday 🌱

Hot Mom& Rich Auntie Network started as a space for mothers and aunties who pour into everyone else, but still have something God placed in them to build, birth, and become.

Then I realized the vision was bigger. It was for every woman who knows there is still more in her.

This brunch became even more personal because two weeks before it happened, God tugged on my heart to move it back to Mother’s Day weekend. I moved it in the first place because if you are in Dallas, you know how busy Mothers Day Weekend is…
My mom passed the Wednesday before the original date.

Had I not been obedient, I would’ve had to cancel it.

That experience taught me that sometimes what looks like event planning is really obedience, preparation, and planting roots.

And now those roots are growing into The Well. 🌱

A nurturing space for women who still have more to birth.

If your kids don’t teach you something in the middle of you teaching them, you’re using them wrong 😂😂

Just kidding. But seriously, parenting is lifelong learning in itself.

Rewatching this video, I realized how serious I am and how silly Trey is 😂 but I also caught something in myself.

When he thought he didn’t have enough money, I was literally a split second away from getting irritated.

Like, “Trey… I already told you $40 was enough.” 😭

But then I thought about how many times God has probably looked at me doing the SAME thing.

The cashier said “$35.70” and Trey heard $3,570 😂 He knew he only had $40, so immediately he was worried.

But I knew what he didn’t know.

I knew what the cashier actually said.
I knew what was in his hand was enough.
I knew he was okay.

All he had to do was trust me.

And once he did, he handed over the money and was so unbothered he almost walked out without the pizza 😂

And whew… that’ll preach to ME.

How many times has God already told me, “You have enough. I’ve got you. Trust Me.” and I’m still standing there panicking because what I heard, what I see, or what I understand doesn’t add up?

And yet He’s patient with me.

He doesn’t get irritated because I need reassurance again.
He doesn’t shame me because I don’t understand.
He just keeps reminding me who He is.

Trey trusted me because I knew more than he did.

That’s how I want to trust God.

And the second lesson?

Lighten up, girl. 😂

Everything doesn’t have to turn into a serious life lesson in the moment. Sometimes let the kid be silly, let yourself laugh, and trust that the lesson is still being learned.

He learned how to pay for dinner.

I learned a little more about how God parents me.

And no he did not leave his pizza. @dominos 😂🍕
