Really proud to present our new and 5th VA on Aksorn: ASKRNVA05 coming out October 20th. 🔩

Preoders are NOW OPEN on our Bandcamp - link in bio ⛓️

Limited to 300 copies, this 2x12'' double vinyl VA is the third physical release of the industrial techno label, Askorn Records. Including 8 tracks ranging from dark and tortured slow beats to hard and industrial techno bangers, this release brings together 9 producers from Belgium, UK, Poland, Australia and France: @twan_rimbu @dahryl__ @mickey.nox @tripped_madback @14anger @draugrdrg @hel.iv_ @ogmah666 and @hatelove6661

A1: Twan & Dahryl - Ammunition
A2: Mickey Nox - Switching Horsepower
B1: Tripped - Fat Load
B2: 14anger - Bachman
C1: Draugr - Discipline
C2: Hel.IV - Brave & Thick
D1: Ogmah - No Feelings, Pure Wrath
D2: Hatelove - Snakebyte

The artwork is an engraving by the artist Daniel Girault from Brittany in France. This is the result of a dark and disturbing abstract design engraved on a hard metal surface, made by cutting grooves into it with different sharp tools. After being drowned into an acid bath, this metal plate is finally pressed with black ink on a thick paper sheet.

Produced by Askorn Records, 2023

B.A.R.K - Ruptured Pulse EP is OUT NOW 🗝️

We are super happy to present you our new release, Ruptured Pulse EP by the Japanese artist @b.a.r.k_experiment for his first appearance on Askorn Records! This EP also include two remixes by Askorn’s founder @ogmah666 and the one and only @duellistuk, for the 2nd time on our label 🇯🇵🇫🇷🇬🇧

In the first version of Ruptured Pulse, B.A.R.K brings us a powerful and driving broken beat rhythm, embellish with some shrill synths. Perfect blend of a scary and doomy atmosphere, and crazy percussions.

The part II of Ruptured Pulse is definitely one of the scariest techno track we released, with the crazy use of screaming and organic noises. This track sends you straight into your biggest nightmare.

Ruptured Pulse III combine the power of a broken beat industrial track with harsh noises, metallic drums, crunchy kickdrums, and disturbing glitch breaks. No compromises.

For the first remix, Ogmah revisited the part III into an hard hitting 4x4 techno track, focusing on the deafening background, and adding an hammering kick, some groovy driving drums and a mysterious delayed synth.

Last but not least, Duellist reworked the 1st Ruptured Pulse track in a perfect way, turning the noisy synths of the original track into a shivering tension builder between the breakbeat parts. Pure violence.

The beautiful artwork was made by the insane artist @maldesiglos following B.A.R.K’s idea of something elegant, fragile, fleeting, something that feels so delicate it could fall apart with the slightest touch. by @askrnrcrds

OUT NOW

1. Crushed Memories

With this first track « Crushed Memories » Whøman is sending us in a journey in a lost dungeon, where doom atmosphere, distorted choirs and despair reign. Expect some growling bass and drums as sharp as a razorblade.

2. The Void

Glitchy voices, clipping sounds and heavy bass, « The Void » is a pure brain melter track. Playing with static noise, rumbling kickdrum and a ton of distortion, a dangerous mental combo.

3. Do you feel the pain?

Namesake of the EP, « Do You Feel The Pain? » is exploring a different way to f*** us up, from deconstructed broken beat to hard 4-4 pounding kicks, psycho synths and scary voices from Syncope and the artist himself.

4. Do you feel the pain? (Raßßeat Remix)

The industrial heavyweight Raßßeat introduces us to his revision of the title track with a crazy electric and incredibly percussive track. A massive variety of kickdrums, from 909 gabber to newschool industrial kickdrums, alongside a beautiful dreamy melody of bells.

5. Do you feel the pain? (Ogmah Remix)

Last but not least, the label owner Ogmah delivers a violent, unmerciful remix. A sinister chilling introduction, interrupted with a brutal slamming kick pattern, explosive snares and harsh noises. A s/o to oldschool industrial hardcore. by @askrnrcrds

Askorn Records is proud to announce you « Midnight Tenants EP » by OMBRAR inc. Catartsis remix.

Out everywhere.

Buy: link in bio

1. This first track is the perfect way to introduce you to the global atmosphere of the EP. « The 04AM Passenger » is an intriguing, organic and robotic journey.

2. « Rooted Bones » gets straight to the point with some very percussive drums, almost tribal, tangy synth and an extremely grooving groove.

3. Soaring but spooky melody, « WoodWorm » throws you in a haunted mansion. Metallic and perfectly distorted drums, violent kickdrum, what else? Be careful, this one is very intense.

4. Catarsis offers us a beautiful refined remix that brings the tension down, focusing on the atmospheric side of the track, with very hypnotic and organic drums. by @askrnrcrds
