Prime Taekwondo

Brought Heart.
Coaches brought game.

Season II ended, but the work extended.
Skills got blended, weaknesses mended.

More tricks. More kicks.
More fire in the mix.
What didn’t stick—we came back and fixed.

No shortcuts taken.
No spotlight needed.
The mission stayed alive when the season completed.

Less talk. More walk.
Let the work speak when time.

The Three Aspects of Taekwondo

1. Tricking
Develops athleticism, creativity, board breaking, demonstrations, and explosive movement.

2. Poomsae
Builds rhythm, power, balance, coordination, expression, and discipline through precise technique.

3. Sparring
Develops timing, speed, strategy, and the ability to strike with decisive intent while maintaining complete control.

Self-Defense

Traditional Taekwondo also includes practical self-defense techniques such as hammer fists, back fists, elbows, spear-hand thrusts, and knife-hand strikes. These techniques can cause serious injury if misused, making self-control one of the most important qualities of every martial artist.

Power without discipline is dangerous.

Life is hard.

You will lose. You will fall down. You will get knocked down. You will be disappointed. You will be doubted. You will be treated unfairly.

That is life.

But life does not get to decide who you become.

Your response does.

Train your mind. Train your body. Train your emotions.

Become stronger through discipline. Become stronger through adversity. Become stronger through repetition.

Every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Every setback is a lesson. Every failure is a chance to rise again.

No quit. No excuses. No wavering. No doubt.

We stand strong. We innovate. We lead.

Today, I am honored to have earned my 8th Chevron after successfully passing my 2nd Degree Black Belt Test. This achievement is not the finish line—it is a reminder that growth never stops and excellence is a daily commitment.

To my Coaches, Instructors, training partners, students, family, Instructor Vanessa and especially Master Vang, and everyone who has supported my journey—Thank you.

Keep pushing. Keep growing. Keep fighting.

The obstacle is not the end of your story.

It is the beginning of your next level.

The 2026 Kansas Open marked the final demonstration performance of our Demo Team's second season together. This season was filled with challenges, growth, victories, mistakes, lessons, and opportunities to become stronger as martial artists and leaders.

One of the greatest lessons Taekwondo teaches us is that failure is not the end. Everyone falls. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone faces obstacles. What separates champions from everyone else is the willingness to get back up.
When things don't go your way, when the odds seem stacked against you, and when success feels far away, you keep moving forward.

At Prime Taekwondo, we believe that winners are not people who never fail—they are people who refuse to quit. They persevere, learn, improve, and come back stronger than before.

Our team displayed tremendous heart, courage, and determination throughout this season. Their energy, effort, and commitment were evident at the 2026 Kansas Open, where they represented Prime Taekwondo with pride.
