2024: Reflecting on Progress and Partnerships2024 has been a remarkable year for mentoring, coaching, speaking engagements, and transformative events. We’re grateful for the opportunities to guide so many on their leadership journeys.A highlight was our first-ever in-person AH Summit, themed Partnerships for Progress. It brought together passionate educators and organisations committed to driving change. One attendee described it as “SAFE – safe to be who I am and learn from like-minded individuals.”This year also saw the expansion of our collaborations, including hosting our first Instagram Live with @blackmentch on International Men’s Day. These partnerships have been instrumental in amplifying underrepresented voices and celebrating excellence.Support from @Mission44 has been a game-changer, and we’re celebrating milestones like the Best Mentor of the Year award - @future_edgroup and seeing our AH Alumni step into leadership roles.Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. Message from our Founder: Whilst I was on maternity leave, following events of George Floyd, I came across statistics that stated the facts about the lack of diversity in leadership positions. My husband and I then started a conversation that led to the founding of Aspiring Heads - What a journey so far! A small idea that was formed whilst nursing my baby has now positively impacted the lives of others and our desire is for it to reach hundreds more. Last week, we came together to celebrate 6 years of Aspiring Heads.It was a truly special moment to reconnect with some of our AH alumni and board members, reflecting on the journey we have shared and the impact we have created together. The energy, love, and warmth in the room were a powerful reminder of the incredible community that continues to surround and inspire us.While the journey has brought its share of challenges, it has also been filled with countless life-changing successes, moments of transformation, and stories of growth. We are deeply proud of the community we have built - a community shaped by ambition, resilience, trust, and a shared commitment to making a difference.To every individual who has supported, sponsored, advocated for, and championed our work - ‘thank you’.
