It's never too late to be grateful right? Had a little set back today that would have probably ruined me a couple of years ago but instead I stopped and realized how lucky I am!, I had the best birthday of my life this year at age 47! People I haven't talked to in years called me to wish me a great day, friends completely gobsmacked me with a bday bouquet, got to talk to my two best men, and went bar hopping with Jeff (the other good man). I am THE luckiest! by @asppete

I got to go on the trip of a lifetime with my best friend and the rest of this crew who I will forever call the Princes of Puerto Vallarta! We walked to the top of a mountain (probably hill, but it was arduous so we will say mountain) to Sky Bar which is so funny to people who know me! I got to stand in the ocean for 4 days with my best friend, like what is this life?!!!! We took a cooking class and made things like shrimp soup and octopus tacos, we had margaritas under gorgeous trees and Jason and I danced our legs off and probably saved a marriage! After what I went through I cannot be more grateful to be alive so when I get things like this, I cry like the whole time, like right now as I write this! If you can, go on a trip with your bestie even if it's to the next town over, I highly recommend it. P.s I wanted to add the One Margarita song to this because 🤣 but I couldn't waste how grateful I am to make a funny for once in my life! @carltonshankz

In our continuing quest to be the best uncle and aunt ever, we showed our 13 year old nephew The Outsiders by @s.e.hinton_offical and @francisfordcoppola and at the end of the movie he said "that is my favorite movie" well with an answer like that you get to go on a day trip to @theoutsidershouse the following week! It was very cool to stand inside the actual movie set, not something you can even do in Hollywood! What a great job you have done @officialdannyboyoconnor ! And of course we had to go to #brownies afterwards because we aren't amateurs!

Continuing on with my bday presents this year, after 20 + years of loving @theraveonettes I finally saw them at their home base in the states @tulipsftw wow they were better than I ever imagined and then after the show and pit stop to the restroom, we walk out to the patio and there they are @sunerosewagner and @sharin_foo omg omg omg we tried so hard not to freak but we were 100% freking out! and they were the absolute best people to ever meet, they treated us like old friends and I will never forget their kindness! (We then went to the site of the 1976 movie Logan's Run as it was down the street!) @photo80sjeff
