The poetry collection Þokuperla/ Pearl in the Fog is an exploration of two distant islands, Iceland and Japan, their parallels, contrasts, observations and findings in between.

The book is both in Icelandic and English and is available in @bokumbok_ in Reykjavík, and on my website under 'þokuperla'; www.asraranbjort.com

I recently had the great honor and pleasure of collaborating with both my grandmother Kristjana Samper and mother @mireya.samper for an exhibit at Hammond Museum, New York.
An opportunity I am beyond grateful for. Link in bio!

Our mutual respect for the body of water drove the project.
