🌟🌟GREAT TASTE AWARDS 2022 🌟🌟

Super chuffed to have been awarded 2🌟🌟 for my Dark Chocolate Orange Truffles which I entered into this year’s Great Taste Awards🤗

It is always wonderful to get the thumbs up 👍for something that you have put a huge amount of work and trial and error into! 😃 .. especially when it is totally free from dairy, refined sugars, gluten, soy and anything artificial.. and also very vegan friendly💚. These truffles are also nutfree🌰.. It can be challenging sometimes competing with products that contain more mainstream ingredients but I feel very passionate about being able to enjoy treats that are both delicious and nutritious 😍

“Charming looking chocolates, the sprinkles of the orange peel and chocolate make these most attractive. The crisp shell gives way to a creamy textured ganache that combines bitter chocolate and orange to great effect. Rich and smooth, these are jolly well made.”

😍THANK YOU😍

Just finished holding another workshop and I would like to thank everyone who came along….🤗

Very happy I asked them all to be guinea pigs for my newest attempt at a mylk chocolate button that I’ve been experimenting with😀

This jar was full… but the contents went home with a very happy customer!!😆.. so I think that’s a thumbs up👍

I love running these workshops as it’s always so much fun meeting new people and sharing each other’s knowledge.. quite often we will have a little nugget of information that we might not realise is super helpful to someone else😁

😁FUN TIMES😁

We had so much fun this morning in my chocolate kitchen😀

What a great bunch of ladies.. so many interesting pieces of advice and knowledge exchanged … you never know quite how much we collectively know .. which is what makes each workshop unique😃

If you would like to come along and enjoy a relaxed few hours learning techniques to make your own dairy free raw desserts using only natural and organic ingredients and take away a comprehensive booklet of recipes, tips and information on all ingredients used .. my next workshop is running on OCTOBER 15th 2-4.30pm. .. the link to book your space is in my bio💚

Chocolate with me .. in the heart of Knightsbridge 🍫

I don’t often teach outside of Somerset, so I am genuinely excited to let you know that I have been invited to host a Raw Chocolate Making workshop at Divertimenti’s Cookery School in Knightsbridge - the same hands on class you know and love, now in the heart of London 😀

I had the delight of running this hands-on chocolate workshop for the most delightful set of 🐓🐓🐓 and the beautiful bride to be.💕
The setting couldn’t have been more perfect and I am very grateful to Nina @peacock.barn for suggesting me to this lovely group of ladies for an activity during their stay in Somerset.

We had a lot of fun and everyone created their own bespoke chocolates to take away with them 🍫😋.. hoping they lasted the weekend!
All the chocolate we used was @asrawas dairyfree unroasted chocolate .. bursting with wonderful properties 💚🍫

🔥 Capturing a few moments from what has been a truly special and incredible day @atwinterbourne.

1) Thank you to all who joined my Pilates class, a 30 minute taster to kick start the open day. 👊

2) Otto loved chatting with @octavia_greig about her work, time at Millfield and business, One Generation. Fab shopping for me too! 🙏

3) Rolling down at the end of my class! 🥰

4) Otto had fun in the pottery class with the amazing @oliviahamerwebb, who was running workshops. 🤗

5) A little snippet of @yesim_yuva yoga class on the lawn, how wonderful to experience her yoga in the sunshine.☀️

6) Lovely chatting to @asrawas about her beautiful chocolates, sampling some before buying a selection! 👌

🍫Busy in my chocolate kitchen! 🍫

Now the weather is a little cooler! I have been busy making up some dark chocolate discs from my 78% dark raw chocolate .. made from just cacao paste. Cacao butter and coconut sugar .. nothing else needed!! 💚🍫

My new flavour has been inspired by a wonderful course I have been on recently by @aisteisis and @joel_gazdar .. if any of you remember the iconic @wildfoodcafe you will understand the passion behind all the foods they created💚.. I’ve been learning so much about wild plants 🌱.. seeds .. seaweeds.. 🌊mushrooms 🍄‍🟫.. to name a few … which is where the nettle idea has sprung from ..

🍀nettles are a powerhouse .. packed full of vitamins and minerals .. a natural inflammatory, antioxidant and diuretic .. pop them in a smoothie.. juice them up .. add them to some soup .. the list is endless ..

🖤 black sesame - which I have activated to make them even easier on your digestion and for better absorption of all the essential minerals like calcium and magnesium.. mega nutritious little seeds that pack a mighty punch! 🙂

So watch this space to see what else I find to add in to make your chocolate experience a delicious and highly nutritious one 💚

It was so much fun running this hands on chocolate workshop for a fantastic bride to be and her hens👰‍♀️🐓

Wendy @ashhousesomerset has gone to a tremendous amount of care to create a truly wonderful and beautiful space and it was a joy to carry out this workshop in such a tranquil and beautiful environment 😃

I am really enjoying bringing my chocolate workshops to people’s own venues .. 🚗 so if you have a special event or would just love to get a group of friends/ family together .. just let me know! 💚

💚NEW PRODUCT!💚

I have been inspired by a wonderful programme I have been a part of for the past few weeks called ‘The Mineral Woman’ 💕… under the wonderful and hugely knowledgable guidance of both @aisteisis and @joel_gazdar 🙏

I have learnt so much from them and there is still so much more to learn.. but I wanted to share some of that knowledge by creating a super bumpa nutritious energy bar for you all to enjoy! 😍

These bars pack a mighty punch due to the extra ingredients I have added.. they are not too sweet .. as I have used my 90% unroasted dairy free chocolate mixed with a combination of puffed quinoa, super nutritious black sesame seed paste, goji berries and activated pumpkin and sunflower seeds .. activation makes nuts and seeds much easier on your digestion and increases the absorption of all the amazing properties they contain.. 💚

In addition I have added the wonderful adaptogen and energy giver maca, antioxidant rich burdock root powder, super nutritious home grown dried nettle, blood sugar stabilising cinnamon, nutrient rich cardamom, a pop of warming chilli and healthy fats from virgin raw coconut oil🥥

I taste tested them with the lovely ladies @highstreetorganics and received a resounding thumbs up 👍.. so, once I’ve got my head around how to pop them on my website .. you’ll be able to try them for yourselves .. I really hope you enjoy them😍
I’ll also be making up a batch for delivery next week to @highstreetorganics 😋

We've teamed up with Taste of Corsham to bring you a Chocolate Demonstration.

Join Emily Collet from @asrawas to learn the story of where chocolate comes from, and how she creates her own dairy-free unroasted chocolate. She will demonstrate two delicious truffle recipes (including a taster for you) and a fail-safe way to temper chocolate at home.
