A graphic experimentation exploring the visual identity of Moroccan football through archival imagery, typography, texture, and composition.

For this series, I experimented with different treatments of Larbi Benbarek’s imagery, playing with rotation, grain, monochrome effects, handwritten typography, bold colors, and imperfect layouts. I wanted the visuals to feel raw and nostalgic while still having a contemporary graphic language.

The goal wasn’t to create a final polished design, but to explore how historical Moroccan football imagery can be reinterpreted through experimental graphic design. Each artboard represents a different approach to the same subject, focusing on movement, contrast, texture, and visual energy. by @asristcly
