Is it just me, or does anyone else love miniseries? They are long enough for you to actually care about the characters, but not long enough to take up a long period of your time. They have the perfect duration!
Anyways, what mini series do you recommend?

This Film was shot six months ago, a lot has happened since but I still laugh my heart out when I look back at the memories we made throughout the way
Hope you guys go ahead and watch the final short film, we poured our hearts into it👀💞

Elephant in the room everyone: this film feels like it was made by a man obsessed with Marilyn’s helplessness. There is a thin line between depicting trauma and fetishizing it. Andrew Dominik didn’t give us a person; he gave us a sexualized victim who exists entirely through her dependence on men. It’s hard to ignore how much the “male gaze” dominates every frame—turning her real-life suffering into a stylized dream. By trying to “humanize” her through pain, did the film just end up exploiting her all over again? #blonde #filmreview #cinema #cinematography #marilynmonroe #malegaze #anadearmas by @asrodfilms

The first time i saw blonde I didn’t really hate it that much tbh, it wasn’t a masterpiece for me but it’s one of those (hear me out) films, did you guys hate it? #cinematography #filmcritic #filmmaking #blonde #cinema #moviecritic by @asrodfilms

Storyboard is the director’s vision, before shooting. They draw the scenes before taking them to prevent wasting time and energy on set (cause then you actually know what you’re gonna shoot) #shotlist #bts #behindthescenes #storyboard #cinema by @asrodfilms

Have you ever felt like you’re living the exact story you’re filming?
That’s what happened to me while making this short. I felt stressed, anxious, and strangely connected to the scene — something I’d never experienced before.
This is my first 1-minute vertical short film, and I pushed myself to use everything I’ve been learning… even some techniques inspired by Babylon.
I’d love to know what you think. Was it a successful attempt?

Is the role of cinema to guide people, or to free them?
This question has been eating my mind lately.
Tell me which side you agree with. I’m curious #cinematography #philosophy #filmmaker #filmmaking #cinema #cinéma by @asrodfilms
