Most of us have gotten really good at the quick version of “I’m fine.”

We say it in passing, in the chats, in the school pickup line. And most of the time, that’s all anyone has time for.

But some days, the quick answer doesn’t cut it.

So this Sunday, I’m giving myself the time I wish I’d had.

Journal prompt:
If someone sat with me for ten full minutes and I told them the truth, what would I say?

Write it down. Messy is fine. You don’t have to share it or fix it. You just have to let it out.

And if you’re the one who notices when someone seems off, ask twice, and stay for the answer. 🦋
