The dust has settled @assemblyartfair || 🧡🩵
The seven intense days it took to build out our space only took one day to disassemble. That’s a wrap!

Last Wednesday we not only had the pleasure of seeing our space come to fruition but the Assembly Art Fair in its entirety came together. With esteemed galleries from near and far, the talent was on display and thousands of visitors came through to see it all.

Thank you for joining us, for sharing your experiences and for your support of the arts. Thank you to our colleagues, collectors, exhibiting artists, and new friends alike. We loved being a part of this inaugural event.

Today is the final day of what has been an exciting, energetic, and incredibly refreshing art fair experience. Thank you to everyone who has visited the fair, experienced our presentation of work, and supported our efforts in many meaningful ways.

Assembly is a gallery-led, invitational art fair organized by a cohort of Seattle’s leading galleries, with founding members including Traver Gallery and Greg Kucera Gallery. Each represented gallery is selected for its unique curatorial perspective and the questions — material, cultural, and conceptual — that its artists engage.

Checking out @assemblyfair this weekend taking place at West Canal Yards, an adaptive reuse project designed by GBA that transforms a former fish processing and freezer facility into flexible, light-filled spaces for makers and maritime uses along Seattle’s Ship Canal.

On view through this Sunday, “in place of a conventional booth layout, Assembly unfolds as a series of exhibitions; each gallery with its own unique space, allowing for intimate encounters with art and meaningful dialogue between artists, curators, and collectors.” Link in bio for 🎟️ and more info.

If this inaugural year is any indication, Assembly Art Fair is carving out something special.

Rather than competing for attention, the fair invited visitors to slow down—to explore thoughtfully curated exhibitions, connect with galleries, and discover artists shaping the Pacific Northwest today. As someone who is relatively new to the PNW, it was exciting to experience the strength of the art community all in one place, in an environment that felt approachable, collaborative, and refreshingly unhurried.

Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this fair to life. And of course, it was especially fun to see @meredithpardue’s work featured. ✨
