“It’s been awhile,” says the friendly Mage,
“But I knew I’d see you again someday.
Been far and wide, hence my Time off,
So come, thee, close while I spin some Yarns.
Tales of Love and Loss, though standard for me
This Time are told much differently.”
Another Quintet from our favorite Seer.
Rejoice! Be Merry! Extend some Cheer...

Surprise! The adventure continues, the landscape expands. After some time away from entries to the main Quest, the Threadmage returns with his fifth assortment of incantations. Assorted Potions 5 is an exploration of dichotomies: from the dark and dirging to the bright and whimsical. Between moments of traditional dungeon synth and passages that veer even further away from the expected (and arguably deeper into the silly), you’ll find the secret Magickal place that these 5 songs came from. Forever grateful to old friends and family for being a part of my life and inspiring me every day, and I’m always excited for new people who have entered or are about to enter my life; I’m looking forward to the memories we’ll make together!🧙‍♂️

“O’er Dirt and Sea and Plains and Mire
Through Earth and Sky and Ice and Fire
Our Hero traverses with endless Conviction
and Assorted Potions to complete the Mission
Hear these three Off’rings, the Sounds of the Tales
Of the perilous Journeys where the Hero prevails

STILL Dedicated to those who are navigating their own Hero’s Journey.”

I can’t believe I’m finally saying this: Assorted Potions 1-3 will be released on vinyl! This compilation includes all 15 tracks from the original trilogy, pressed on gorgeous black vinyl by @duplication.ca.

@engravenrecords will be releasing this collection (thanks Anthony for doing the layout) so go to their Bandcamp to pre-order this rekkid! Shipping OCT. 15, international shipping is also possible!

Austinites can just reach out to me to hold a copy for them, I’ll be selling these at my performances around town.

Thank you so much for your support over the past few years, I’m truly humbled and grateful every day for anyone who has ever given my music a listen. Thanks to @lindsaywomackk and @thaumaturge_artworks for your art! I hope everyone is as excited as I am! Hail Dungeon Synth! 🧙‍♂️

In a turn of Events I could not predict
It seems that I’m in a feature length Flick…

The scuttlebutt is true, I indeed do have a very brief cameo in The History Of Concrete by @peepingjohn , along with a slew of other incredible artists. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, I can’t recommend it enough. After finally viewing, I felt like my Wizard Hat was lighter than a feather the rest of the day, smells were stronger, my pillows were colder. I shan’t spoil anything else, go see the movie yourself! Thanks to @dedalus.digital for taking these pictures of me remembering this moment.
In terms of other Potions news, Austinites stay tuned for more announcements in the near future…🧙‍♂️

Here’s a couple of disposable camera shots from a show in June with Bell Ringer, Assorted Potions(@assortedpotions), Apoxupon(@apoxuponus), and Flickers from the Fen (@flickersfromthefen). (Herbalists also played but I was juggling keyboards for the audience and didn’t manage to take any photos while I was playing) by @assortedpotions

This is @assortedpotions performing at @helgisbar.

Probably the funniest Dungeon Synth act I've ever seen. It was heartwarming, positive, innovative and deeply stupid. At one point I was brought on stage and successfully had a love spell cast upon me. It still has not worn off. ❤️
