@seyifunmimakinde knows that a wild idea means nothing without the discipline to pull it off.

Through @verymadfilm , he is turning movement, concept, timing and visual tension into work that feels cinematic, intentional and built to stay with you long after the frame cuts.

From fashion campaigns and film promotion, to music visuals like Shoday’s “MOVE”, his approach is clear: push the idea further, then execute it until the madness looks effortless.

Very Mad, yes. But never random. ☄️

@emekaoflagos doesn’t just put looks together. He builds characters.

Through sculptural hair, streetwear, retro references and sharp styling, he turns the body into a complete visual language where nothing feels accidental and the hairstyle can be just as important as the clothes.

The result is fashion that feels alive, expressive and constantly transforming.

Hair becomes architecture. Clothing becomes attitude. The whole look becomes the story.

Some arguments are too good to settle.

@battleofjollof has turned one of West Africa’s loudest debates into a full cultural spectacle, bringing food, basketball, music, fashion and community into the same room.

Now in its sixth edition, the event returned on September 12 with Ghana taking the jollof crown and Nigeria winning on the court. Equal parts competition and celebration, it proves the rivalry works best when everybody gets something to shout about.

Because at Battle of Jollof, the argument is the culture.

@kkerele is not interested in making shoes you forget the moment you take them off.

Under @tinaakkerele direction, footwear becomes a study in touch, memory, movement and restraint. Wrapped soles born from limitation become signatures. Local craft becomes language. Imperfection becomes part of the design rather than something to hide.

What makes Kkerelé compelling is not just how the shoes look, but the philosophy behind why they exist at all.

Less noise. More meaning. Objects made to be lived in, felt deeply and kept for longer.

@nasamartins doesn’t design to blend in. She designs to be remembered.

Through oversized silhouettes, bold colour, 90s references and a fearless sense of proportion, she turns streetwear into something more sculptural, more expressive and far more personal.

But the clothes are only part of the story. Through content, styling and visual storytelling, Chinasa is building a creative world where the process matters just as much as the finished look.

Big shapes. Sharp ideas. Zero interest in playing small.

Lagos is not running out of sound. It’s multiplying.

Beneath Afrobeats, a different city is getting louder, one shaped by rage, alté, house, Afrotech, street-pop, R&B and the kind of genre collisions that could only come from a generation raised on everything at once.

The interesting part is that there may not be one “next sound” waiting to take over.

There might be ten.

And Lagos is making all of them at the same time.

Black creativity does not need another moment. It needs momentum.

Founded by Nigerian-born sisters @adeysilver and @thishartofmine , Black Creative Trailblazers is turning community into real creative power, bringing together fashion, music, photography, poetry, film and art while creating pathways to mentorship, visibility, paid opportunities and industry access.

It is not just about being seen. It is about what happens after the spotlight.

Because applause is good, but access changes careers.

Some brands make clothes. @brotherslaweee builds a conversation between what we wear and what we remember.

Built by @sanjo_lawal and @lawalmayor_ , the brand moves between fashion, photography and visual art, reworking Nigerian fabrics, cultural memory and personal history into pieces that can exist on the body or on the wall.

Lace becomes streetwear. Tradition becomes contemporary. Art prints sit beside clothing. Everything speaks the same language.

BrothersLawee is less about choosing between art and fashion, and more about what happens when both are allowed to exist in the same world.

Some people travel to see places. @theniyifagbemi travels to understand them.

His lens moves through festivals, cities, landscapes, architecture and everyday life, capturing the details that usually get lost when Africa is reduced to one image, one stereotype, one story.

From Ojude Oba to Durbar, Makoko, Calabar and beyond, his work is part cinema, part archive and part cultural reclamation.

This is not travel content for the sake of escape.

It is Africa documenting itself, in motion, in colour, and on its own terms. ☄️

Some designers make things look good. @fallofmichael makes them feel like they belong in a world of their own.

From flyers and logos to typography, event visuals, brand systems and recent work for NO11, his practice moves across music, nightlife and culture with a sharp instinct for mood and identity.

His work has travelled beyond Lagos too, appearing across spaces and stages in Houston, New York and Calgary.

Different cities. Different projects. Different visual languages.

One thing stays consistent: FallOfMichael knows how to make an idea impossible to ignore.
