As we made our descent south we crossed over into Wisconsin hugging Lake Michigan. It is called the circle tour and honestly you could spend all summer exploring these little communities. We all went on the tour of Lambeau Stadium, home of the Green Bay Packers, and Walton had a ball. Personally I was very impressed and I’m not a football fanatic. You can tell the community takes pride in the stadium and their team. The facilities were emaculate! Something I didn’t take into account was this is Wisconsin’s spring. We got hit hard with rain for this part of the trip. by @astewart39

Once we left Indiana we headed towards Michigan. Michigan is a new state for all of us. We had lunch in Holland, MI at Bowerman’s who was a farm to table restaurant of everything Michigan blueberry themed. We were all in heaven! We crossed over the 45 parallel and saw fields and fields of blueberries, Christmas tree farms, cherry tree orchards, apple orchards, and asparagus. We spent some time at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and it was gorgeous. We stayed in Petosky for the night. by @astewart39

Memorial Day weekend has become a tradition of Camp Dorrah Lake with our church family. I admit I was a little apprehensive about the rain forecast during our camp, but it was still the sweetest weekend studying Psalms 23. Walton looks forward to this time each year! The kids didn’t mind the rain and rolled with the punches. There was also a nest of Eastern Cottontail bunnies under the boardwalk and one bunny was not scared at all. The kids enjoyed watching him so much. by @astewart39

It was such a wonderful experience returning to campus this morning and being recognized as one of this year’s retirees. Even more special, one of my former students has been hired as my replacement—meaning the business division now has two of my former students serving as instructors. That truly fills me with pride as a teacher ❤️ #GoRangers by @astewart39

For all these berries I tossed half in the yard for the birds due to slugs. The slugs love and when there is rain and moisture it’s a breeding ground for them. However, if the bugs, slugs, and everything else wants to eat on your stuff you know it’s organic 🤣 by @astewart39
