I know it is easy to feel disheartened seeing these atrocities - but we will not normalize this genocide against the palestinian ppl. Pierce through the veil of complicity with all your courage, gifts/skills and beautiful life energy! Stay open to feeling the love for one another & our sacred responsibilities to each other. You’re enough! Don’t give up! If you’re afraid that’s ok, do it anyway. Be the change you wanna see.

It has been one year since i wrote this song and earlier this month, i filmed the music video in front of a 🇵🇸 mural on j&10th in sacramento with my friends @astig_sound & @sammay.art

I remember i felt inspired to write these lyrics after i saw a photo from a bridge blockade. A bunch of queers had their arms linked together by plastic tubes that read “FUCK INDIVIDUALISM”. I opened ableton, sang a tune inspired by @gabrielteodros programmed the kicks and the lyrics wrote themselves. I am overjoyed everytime i have performed this song on stage and i will remember the times we chanted it together - “stop business as usual! stop the genocide!”

If you are interested in the shirt by astig sound, pre-orders are open now. All donations go to @aroc_bayarea & @palestinianfeministcollective ; @astigsound has been able to raise over $4.6k in donations so far. link in bio!
