Austin Daboh OBE for Services To Music.

My whole career has been about helping those less fortunate stumble across some fortune. I’ve never cared about recognition, because you can achieve so much more when you don’t care who takes the credit.

Thank you to everyone that has loudly and quietly supported me over the years. Thank you to all my friends & family your advice and grounding is invaluable. I see you all even if I’m not great at keeping in touch lol.

I’m a good kid from a mad area - Woolwich SE18. By God’s grace and great parenting I made it out with just a few scrapes. It felt like yesterday I was sitting in a police cell now I’m getting an OBE…life is funny like that.

There are a few people that aren’t with us today that would have loved this moment. To you I say keep looking over me with your divine protection. Lord knows I’ll need it. The journey continues. by @astndbh

After 2.5 years at Spotify I decided it was time for a new chapter. Spotify is an amazing company and it’s a part of my journey I’ll always have fond memories of.

2 sold out concerts at Alexandra Palace...flying 200 music fans out to Spain...the artist billboard campaigns...all the record breaking moments...its been a proper sick journey and made all the more enjoyable by the staff there who work their arses off to support artists.
I’ll have some news soon on the next part of my journey. For now, if you didn’t notice, I’m taking a little time out to reflect (and win my kids sports day race)

Peace 💚 by @astndbh
