Guys, no transition today! I’m really under the weather 🤢 but I say I must post whether transition Dey or not! by @astoldbyugo

We often hear people say, “Grow with your friends.” But I think there’s another side to that conversation.

Sometimes, you’re genuinely invested in seeing your friends do better. You share ideas, offer constructive criticism, encourage them, celebrate their wins and even push them when they need that extra nudge.

But what happens when that desire for growth isn’t mutual?

Does growing together mean you must grow at the same pace, or does it mean being willing to make room for each other’s growth?

I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts. Let’s talk in the comments. 👇🏽

The day my tripod broke while I was creating content, I was ready to give up for the day. But @thepreciouseo encouraged me to keep going, reminded me why I started, and helped me push through. ❤️

That’s genuine friendship: showing up when it matters and reminding you not to give up on yourself.

And that’s who she is! Beyond being an amazing friend, she’s a stylist who takes people’s style from zero to 💯. She’s done it for my sister and my friend, too!

Need a style transformation? Book a style consultation/discovery call with her.

I’m grateful for the gift of you my P.E.O @thepreciouseo

Sometimes, the clothes aren’t the problem. We just get so used to seeing them one way that we forget their possibilities.

Before you buy something new, shop your wardrobe again. You might be surprised by what you discover. 🤎

Be honest: are you shopping for new clothes or new outfit ideas?

Yesterday, I shared a little about my struggle with procrastination, and some of you were so kind with your words. 🥹🤎

I’m not even going to lie, I was a little shy replying to some of those comments. 😂

But I genuinely appreciate every kind word, encouragement and reminder.

I think sometimes, we wait until we feel ready, confident or completely sure of ourselves before we take that first step. And in the process, we put off things that might not be as difficult as we’ve made them out to be in our heads.

I’m learning that I don’t have to feel fearless to begin. Sometimes, I just have to begin while I’m still afraid.

So here’s to doing the things we’ve been putting off, showing up imperfectly and giving ourselves a chance. 🤎

What’s one thing you’ve been putting off that you know it’s time to start?

If there’s one thing my #locjourney has taught me, it’s that growth is happening, but you might not see it if you’re not documenting it.

From 30+ days loc’d to 270+ days loc’d, the difference is right there.

Sometimes, you just have to look back to see how far you’ve come. 🤎
