IT'S BOOK LAUNCH DAY!! 🎉 I can hardly believe it, and I'm feeling all of the emotions today. This book at its core is truly about you and how to make your home reflect you and your story. Home is more than a collection of pretty things, even interesting things...it's a pathway to show your authentic self to the people around you, it's a way to help you reflect and remind you who you are - it's a way to build community. The seven questions I use for my clients (and myself!) to put your story into your home are all here, plus my now not so secret 😉 tried-and-true pieces of advice on how to make your home function best for you. And I'm giving you a full, detailed tour of my ground-up build, my new house that identifies as old.

I hope you feel seen by this book, and I hope you read it and enjoy it (there's also an audiobook narrated by me!), and I hope you want to share it with your friends and family. Because the truth is, you are here for a reason, and we need you. May you find your storied style, and may your table be crowded. Hope you feel my hug and thank you 🤟🏼

Many thanks to everyone who touched this book at @harperhorizon , @dholdway who made it shine, @iecbuild who built the place we are grateful to call home every day, and to @doyouknowashlow whose artistry captured and created this beautiful video.

And special thanks to my family and friends who walked through this years long process with me. 🤍 by @astoriedstyle

🥳 A BIG announcement and enormous labor of love, my first design book, Storied Style, is available for preorder! I legitimately cannot believe I'm typing this to you! (Eight-year-old me is seriously geeking out)

The book will officially be released on October 28, 2025, and you can pre-order now!! CHEERS ALL AROUND! (Link in bio to order your copy!)

Putting your story in your home is definitely more talked about now than it was a decade and a half ago when I first started out in the design world, but no one explains how to do it-until now! In this book, I outline the exact process I use for clients and myself, highlighting the seven questions to ask yourself.

This is not your typical design book! I think you will be surprised by its contents! It is all real life, tried and true advice, with a large dose of hopefulness, Anne of Green Gables style. It's not about perfection, it's about celebrating who you are, where you've been, and the life you get to offer other people to share with you.

I'm also truly overjoyed to be revealing my own home, a ground up new build constructed of mainly old things - architectural salvage, pieces found in fields, and items hiding in my storage unit. My family of six lived in an airstream for two and a half years while we waited for our home to be ready, an adventure in and of itself! There's a whole section of the book dedicated to this too. :-)

The deep gratitude I feel for this opportunity and for those of you who have supported me and made this book a reality is vast. Thank you, thank you.

Pre-ordering books is so very important for artists like myself. This book, these stories, and the words I felt led to write, become powerful in your hands. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Hope you feel my hug, g xoxo

Hey Texas—still figuring out your 4th of July plans?

You really can’t beat the Hallmark-town charm of the Round Top 4th of July parade. Flags lining the streets, old trucks, front porch hangs, and all the red, white, and blue you could ask for.

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to escape to the country, our #RoundTheRound house is available for the holiday weekend.

We wish we were spending the weekend there ourselves, but since we can’t... hopefully one of you can.

Check out the link in our bio to book your stay and celebrate the 4th in one of our favorite little towns.

Mark your calendars: November 12th–15th!!!

One of the things we love most about Round Top is that it’s become so much more than an antique destination. It’s a little creative hub full of artists, makers, storytellers, dreamers, and people doing interesting things.

We’re always cheering on anything that helps this community continue to grow and flourish, so we’re excited to see the @roundtopfilmfestival return this fall.

If you’re planning a trip in for the festival, we’d love to host you at Round the Round while you’re here. Link in bio to book your stay!

See you in Texas.

The EDIT / Summer 2026 - The Dream Issue

Our Summer issue began with a question: What if dreaming isn’t about chasing a perfectly planned future, but trusting yourself enough to follow what feels true?

Leanne Ford and Grace Mitchell were the perfect cover stars for this conversation. Their Round Top project is a reflection of what happens when you release the blueprint, follow instinct, and stay open to creating something more meaningful than you could have imagined.

Inside the Dream Issue, we explore the quieter, more honest side of dreaming—in our homes, our bodies, our relationships, & the lives we’re building.

A little BTS of how @astoriedstyle and I came up with this living room layout at our #LeftOversHouse. Because we challenged ourselves to design this house using mostly leftovers from old projects and past purchases, we had to get creative.

Some of you with eagle eyes might recognize this couch from Vol. 1 of @feelfree mag. It wasn’t exactly the perfect fit for the space… but it was what we were working with. And once we started playing around with adding a coffee table in the middle, that’s when the magic happened. Swipe to see iteration one and then swipe again to see where we ultimately landed.

And honestly? We love it. It’s kind of fantastic. You always have somewhere to set your drink, and somehow this tiny little living room suddenly feels so much bigger and more open. If we had done one traditional coffee table in the center like you normally would, it would’ve completely filled the room and ruined the flow.

Instead, this slightly silly solution — dreamed up while decorating in the middle of a construction zone — ended up becoming one of our favorite parts of the house.

Just two gals happy as can be in a sea of Willy Guhl.

The other day we got to chat with @yolojournal about Round Top, one of our favorite places in the world, and why this tiny little town and the people in it continue to inspire how we live and create together as the @rough.housers.

Link in bio to read the story.

After the whirlwind of the Antique Fair, we closed out the week in the most meaningful way — in support of children and families across Central Texas.

Rancho was honored to host @thearfoundation , @brooklyndecker , @leannefordinteriors , and @astoriedstyle for an evening rooted in connection, creativity, generosity, and heart. It was the kind of night that reminds you what really matters: showing up for one another, finding purpose in what you love, and turning that into something bigger than yourself.

Thank you to all the vendors and individuals who participated and supported. For more information and ways to give, visit https://www.andyroddickfoundation.org

Another magical Round Top night in the books!

Shout out to @brooklyndecker for having us out to @ranchopillow for such a special evening. Good food, god chats, and the best company — the kind that reminds us why we love coming back here again and again.

Grateful to share the night talking about creativity, helping others find their way, friendship, and making things together in a place that always feels like home.

Round Top, we love you!

This sink has now lived two lives thanks to our #LeftoversHouse. From small-town Pennsylvania to small-town Texas!

It first lived a happy little life in the cottage we designed for Aunt Aya on the show. But when I changed my mind and the cottage got its second makeover, the sink was no longer a fit and had to come out — though it was far too cool to waste.

And in general, we don’t like to let anything go to waste. Our industry admittedly isn’t always the most eco-friendly, but we’re always trying to figure out how to save and reuse old things: houses, hardware, windows, sinks… you name it!

So we shipped it down to Texas with no real plan, and it ended up finding its forever home in this powder bath.

Turns out the scraps can be the best part. Swipe to see this sink’s first home in PA!
