Woo hoo! Tis the music video I made for my song, “Memories and Music” off of my latest album “Soul Fires!” 😃💜

In 2022, after the pandemic and the loss of my Mom to cancer, I threw myself into the fires of RV living and hit the road for most of the year with the hopes of writing a new record. After I’d made it to the east coast and started making my way south, I had a handful of songs about grief, and processing, and starting over. I felt I needed to write a righteous travel song for all the places I’d been and all the places I was going and ask that they give me “Memories and Music.” I wrote this while in New Orleans so it has a bit of big easy flare and features renowned NoLa harmonica player, Johnny Mastro. This video contains footage I took from my journey as well as live shots from my vinyl release party at Studiowest in San Diego in September of 2023.

We’ve stumbled upon a super sweet thing! @timothy_brendandick and I have been doing some duo shows here and there, but it always felt a bit like something was missing...It was @philipbynoe on upright bass and vocals! Folky, bluegrass with a smattering of blues and rock n roll and three part harmonies to die for! Honestly, I’ve been yearning to do something like this for years. I’m a little giddy I must say! Please join us for our first show together this Friday, Sept. 18th at @carleysbar 5-7p ❤🙏🎼 taken in Bisbee, Arizona by @astrakelly

Eclectic songwriter Astra Kelly joins us in a beautiful home in Bisbee, AZ for her song "The River Song". Emotions and passion spiral down a western style tale of finding strength and the courage to keep pushing and what it takes to hold on. We take each wave a little different every time, but hopefully stronger in the end.

Enjoy.
