What an honor it was to perform on the legendary Barbra Streisand Scoring Stage! A huge thank you to Spring Aspers, @sonypictures President of Music for hosting our performance as part of this year’s @lachamberorchestra Salon. It was such a pleasure to meet Spring and her team at Sony - and we’re so excited to be returning in just a few weeks for another awesome event! by @astral_mixtape

We are so excited to be artists in residence at @chambermusicoc for the 2026 - 2027 Season! We will be working with their talented pre-college students through our course “Performer to Creator”, where students will explore collaborative music creation, technology, production, improvisation and marketing. We had so much fun playing for this wonderful community of students and educators to kick off their fall semester. Thank you Chamber Music OC for having us, and we can’t wait for what’s next!

Action shots from our recent show at @chambermusicoc! It’s always a blast when we get to perform this close to the audience. Thanks for the incredible energy and good vibes! by @astral_mixtape

Today marks one year since Biolumy entered the world! Our first collection of entirely original compositions, this album was a journey that changed us as people and shaped the future of our music. If you’ve been listening and have enjoyed it, first of all, thank you! And if you’ve really loved it, one year ago you couldn’t purchase a limited edition vinyl, but now you can!!! Details on our website.

For those still reading, here’s the story behind the name of the album:
We searched for a long time, going through option after option. Some titles were too clinical, some too flat, and one (Edge Effect) too easily misconstrued 😅.
Eventually, we realized the answer had been there all along. The title of the album’s final track, Biolumy, already held everything we were trying to say. It named that strange, luminous place we lived in while making this record. A state of limbo that was by turns beautiful, hilarious, painful, and ecstatic. Where ideas transform and grow, pulsate and soar, or sink quietly into the depths of somewhere you can’t quite name.

And if you’re STILL reading… well, we’ve been working hard on a lot of new music! Stay in touch ❤️ by @astral_mixtape
