30 day panchakarma (5 actions) — an ayurvedic detoxification & rejuvenation treatment. no western science was able to help me the way this holistic, ancient science has. a truly humbling and healing experience. one I will continue to return to, learn from, and honor in my daily life. this physical reset set the stage for a deeper healing to begin in the mountains of Malaysia.

this chapter definitely gives backrooms vibes... of the world, of this small old tin town that became a placeholder home for 9 months, and of my mind. resting in the dark corners long enough to learn both their texture and contrast.

the turning of summer 2025 — the arc of crash out to lock in, then mayyybe crash out again😗✌🏻

I learned how to care for both life and death with presence and reverence. the way you gently hold an abandoned newborn kitten to feed her goat milk every two hours, or place a dying bee in a frangipani flower so the last thing it knows is love.

and then, you hold yourself in the static chaos of your own mind until your body finally relaxes, ribcage trembling, offering yourself so much presence that there’s nothing left between you and the truth of your being.

this is how love finds you. over the bones of who you were pretending to be stands who you actually are. a beacon emanates outward.

this space where you reveal yourself is the space where new teachers reveal themselves to you.

my path was rearranging itself so fast I couldn’t make out where I was anymore, until my beacon was returned like a lighthouse finding me in a dark, raging night. I remember hesitating at the edge of the unknown, looking around and seeing that no one else felt the pull to jump into the sea.

My final chapter in the US;
excerpt from my essay on overcoming addiction entitled

Rooted in Devotion

In a state of constriction and swallowed expression, I met Devotion.

She introduced Herself first in shallow breaths made manifest,
in the gravity of a thousand suns,
in the eyes of a cellar spider
and the wave of a dandelion.

When my hands could no longer write and my eyes ran dry,
She met me outside of everything.
She reminded me that I am something to live for.

She met me where my body met the cold, hard earth as the ancient pine whispered its sorrows and support.

My disconnection to my body revealed the collective disconnect to the earth.
A sickness permeating an extractive culture — one my soul had no choice but to confront.

I quit.
Left the States.
Pulled by an invisible string whispering that I am entirely capable of facing everything, I searched ancestral lands for remnants of the old ways—for my roots.
