Digital Rainbows - 6/2/26 A cat sits on the windowsill of an unfinished wooden frame of a house. The window on the opposite side of the floor is replaced with a pixelated background reminiscent of a rainbow. Digital Rainbows, the title of the album, is superimposed over the rainbow window. Atlas & Oracle, the name of the band, is in the bottom right of the image, superimposed over the wooden boards that make up the building's exterior. by @astralocale

America's goal is for everyone to grow up thinking they're bad so that they feel the need to work their lives away as penance and keep other people in check by angrily talking about them behind their back Nonbinary in that my face doesn't look quite right to me with a short beard, or with a longer beard, or a mustache, but if I shave, it also doesn't look quite right by @astralocale

"Does he even know what Beer for My Horses is about?..." Uh yes i DO which is why this was such a shocking and informative memory, I didn't know the words at the time and it was still BIZARRE, if you thought that sounded like a fond memory instead of a distressing fever dream idk how to help you THE ORACLE'S ATLAS

People love showing me their worst side and then acting surprised when it changes how I see them. by @astralocale

I rarely gatekeep, but I definitely notice when people try to sneak through the door even though it's wide open THE ORACLE'S ATLAS

People who don't judge and don't ask questions are gold standard. People who ask questions but don't judge are great too.

People who've shown me their worst side expecting me to be aligned with their toxicity love pretending that the mistakes I make are worse than their intentional power games THE ORACLE'S ATLAS

Kind of sick of hearing that everyone's trying their best. Some people are
beyond question trying their absolute best to do nothing more than be evil and not get caught. by @astralocale

I need to know if gaslighting existed before the eponymous movie or if ppl have just been getting their ideas from that film's cultural impact THE ORACLE'S ATLAS

It turns out it's actually really easy to find out whether a person is telling you something about someone else honestly or dishonestly by asking questions like how they know what they know. by @astralocale

I actually love being corrected when I've made a mistake. People who hate their mistakes being acknowledged find this baffling THE ORACLE'S ATLAS

In retrospect, maybe the movie industry should have held off on all the movies humanizing robots before they figured out how to humanize humans. by @astralocale

When did you first notice that the world was on fire? The Jungle was the hardest book I'd ever had to read, both because it was for class and because it was so utterly bleak. I was taught that as bad as things were, they were "better now". Unfortunately, history often both rhymes AND repeats itself. by @astralocale

Being neurodivergent is having people think that pure coincidences are secret hidden messages and clear direct messages are purely coincidental and I think it's usually bc they straight up want me to turn out to be someone more acceptable to hate THE ORACLE'S ATLAS

Atlas & Oracle makes prescient ska for prescient people.

Reckon was one of the later songs written for the album, but I think it pulls the whole thing together into a thesis statement for the era. The past is never forgotten, only kicked down the line. No one wants to be the one to uncover it first; seems we'll all need it do it at once. Start again? by @astralocale

I have to assume that when someone says "you should choose your battles" they're basically saying that they know they're wrong but they're not going to admit it and they would prefer if you battled someone else instead of them THE ORACLE'S ATLAS

When someone demands evidence for your feelings of unsafety before they support you or approve of you getting away from that environment, it kinda feels like being asked to solve your own murder before it happens by @astralocale
