With so many people coming together to party, we couldn’t wait to introduce the person behind the turntables

backyardmango is a Portland based vinyl DJ, event organizer and music curator. Primarily known for his dynamic cumbia mixes, his crates run deep with Latin funk/soul, Mexican disco, Balearic beats, and rare Spanish-language covers

He has been featured on major underground music platforms such as NTS, The Lot Radio & Humano Studios, and regularly plays across the US and internationally

For years, chef Adan, @astralpdx and @machetes.pdx have come together to celebrate Día de la Independencia with phenomenal food, drinks, music, and vibes and this year, we are honored to host it at the Hoxton!

Barbacoa, trompo, mariachi, vendors and more will take over Tope and our lobby area to celebrate the start of Hispanic Heritage Month with our communities, and we hope you’ll join us! This is a free event open to people of all ages.

Please note we’ll be serving our collab dishes and not regular Tope menu, and we will not be taking reservations. Food will be first come first served until we sell out, so get here early :)

We had so much darn fun last time, we decided to make a thing of it. 🍂
Join us for The Sunday Series—three Sundays this fall dedicated to getting together with friends and doing what we do best: good food, good drinks, and a very good time.
Each Sunday will have a little theme and flair all its own, so mark the dates, bring your friends, and come hang.

Yesterday was one of those afternoons where everything felt as close to peaceful as you could ask for @luckyduck_or 🍀 🦆

I love when new places leave a little sparkle behind after you leave ✨ Our friends @perrycolinwines were pouring yesterday, the sun was shining and so many people showed up to support. I loved seeing all our industry friends out and enjoying the summer vibe before harvest takes us over.

They’ve got a nice little situation going on here with the cafe in the building, insane pastries and coffee (go see @kiylafawn ) 💕and dinner on the patio.

We enjoyed dinner a few weeks ago and I think about tuna tostada more often than I should… The lovely and talented team @astralpdx x @haywardrestaurant have put something special together for locals and wine country visitors.

I missed their first collab, so naturally that means order the whole menu for round two. Whole menu. Send it. Was I so very full that I fell asleep while trying to watch a movie once I got home? Yep. No regrets, everything ruled.
