🌱 Never tried a prediction market? Perfect, that's exactly where every great forecaster starts.

Here's the easy way in: every new user gets 1,000 free demo tokens (ASCD), play money only, so you can practise on live Polymarket-style markets with zero risk.

Starter plan for your first evening:
1️⃣ Pick one market you actually care about
2️⃣ Read the price as a probability (62¢ ≈ "about 62% likely")
3️⃣ Make a small demo call and watch how the odds move

Got a question? Ask it in the comments. No question is too basic, we answer everyone 💬

Today's Oracle's Riddle #5 is still open too 🔮

How prices move 🌧️📈 A market asks "Rain tomorrow?" and YES trades at 40¢. Then a new forecast says heavy rain. Does the price go UP or DOWN?
Comment your answer before the reveal 👇
New information moves the price: 40¢ becomes roughly 75¢, because the crowd now thinks rain is about 75% likely. A price is just the crowd's best guess, updated live.

Price = Probability #5 🗳️ How to read an election market

It's election week. Suppose a market on "Candidate A wins" trades at 60¢. What is that price telling you?

✅ Answer: traders collectively put the chance at roughly 60%. That's an expectation, not an endorsement. The price says nothing about who should win, only what the crowd thinks is likely right now.

Three things to remember:
• 60% also means about a 40% chance it goes the other way.
• Prices move as votes are counted and news arrives.
• A market is a forecast, not a result. Only the official count settles it.

🔮 Oracle's Riddle #5 · Election-night edition

"I never cast a ballot, yet on election night millions watch me move from 0 to 100. What am I?" 🗳️

Drop your answer below 👇 The first correct answer earns the "Oracle's Apprentice" title. Answer revealed tomorrow in the comments. Keep your streak going: 3 days = Seer, 5 = Oracle, 7 = Grand Oracle.

✨ Yesterday's riddle: 50%. A fair coin has no memory, so six heads in a row change nothing (that's the gambler's fallacy).

Price = Probability #4 🐂 Wisdom of crowds

In 1906, about 800 people at a country fair guessed the weight of an ox. Most guesses were off. How close was the crowd as a whole?

✅ Answer: about 1%. The statistician Francis Galton found that the crowd's middle guess was within 1% of the ox's true weight, closer than most individual experts.

Prediction markets work the same way: every trade is a guess, and the price pulls thousands of guesses into one number. That's why a 65¢ share reads as roughly a 65% chance.

Price = Probability #3 📈 Why prices move

News drops, and a YES share jumps from 40¢ to 62¢. What just happened?

✅ Answer: the crowd updated its belief in real time. Before the news, traders together saw about a 40% chance. After it, about 62%. Nobody "knows" the outcome yet; the price simply moved to match the new information. Big jumps mean surprising news, small drifts mean small updates.
