Had the chance to play at @cityhall_barcelona after recently moving here — grateful for the opportunity to express myself through music.
Played from 4 to 5 until closing, and even though it wasn’t a packed room, the energy from those who were there truly meant a lot.
I really enjoyed it, thanks everyone! taken in City Hall Barcelona by @astrat.sounds

I genuinely thought this set went way worse when I walked out.

Listening back to it now… maybe I was being a little too harsh on myself.

Anyway, London was a good one.

Full set coming soon.

In 1985, DJ Pierre, Spanky and Herb J started experimenting with a Roland TB-303 in Chicago.

They pushed the machine far beyond what it was designed to do, creating the strange, squelchy sound that would become known as “acid”.

The result was Acid Tracks by Phuture — a track that helped shape the sound of Acid House.

Ron Hardy then started playing it at the Music Box, where it became a defining part of the Chicago underground.

Why is House music called House?

The story starts in Chicago, at The Warehouse, with Frankie Knuckles and a sound that would change electronic music forever.

And at the center of it all: "Your Love".
