“I won’t lose!”The amount of times I heard Tifa spam that line in the remake is incredible it’s ingrained into my memory. Anyways tifas limit breaks were always my fave even tho I never fully understood the dolphin. But still so peak. “Never underestimate an outsider.”Another Claude for yall. I wanted to go over a lil about this process because I still can’t believe this came together so decently.For his arms and legs, I saw the vertical lines and assumed they’re quilted. So I looked up how to see quilts and it was…definitely something! Glad I went with that method though because it ended up looking pretty nice. The collar was a bit floppy so I used medium interfacing but I feel like something a bit heavier would’ve been better. I added a gold-ish trim but apparently this is a “fire emblem” trim bc now I’ve been noticing it on other FE cosplayers and I guess it was just meant to be hah. The top and pants were made with satin fabric and lining was Rayon. A good foot always helps with slipper fabric…The cape is probably my favorite part. I got a gold brocade and lined it with gold satin. Added trim at the end because it felt a little boring ? And red and yellow looked nicer to me than green and yellow. It’s attached to my jacket shoulder with heavy duty snaps. Not the best method but it works for now.As for the armor, it’s hand made by me with Eva foam! Attached mostly with some heavy duty Velcro.Sorry for the rambling. Just wanted to share some thoughts hehe. But this project took like…almost 2 months and while it’s not perfect I still love it very much. CLAUDE FINALLY GOT HIS TIMESKIP FIGURE AAAAAA 🎉🥳🎊🎉. Here’s some Petra Claude to celebrate. You may think I ship these two because they’re my favorites. Actually, it’s because I felt their ending gave me what I wanted from Byleth and Petra’s ending- a peaceful unification through marriage. But Byleth’s S support has Petra leave Brigid to marry him. Insane because Claude doesn’t abandon Almyra to be with Byleth (and gives us the worst engagement speech in the process 💔), so why would Petra leave her country?? Especially when she’s the crown princess???Anyway, in a game that’s very obsessed with unifying Fodlan, I just really wanted to see a peaceful unification through wedlock. And Claude and Petra’s is a very large one, uniting Almyra, Fodlan, AND Brigid.
