For sale is a beautiful and bold Fender Player Plus Stratocaster in the wild and original Tequila Sunrise Finish. It is in superb condition with hang tags and paperwork

Good day,
This is a vintage Ibanez PT9 Phase Tone, early to mid ’80s (’83–’84-ish), from Ibanez’s killer MIJ pedal run. Three knobs: Speed, Feedback Width...simple with a whole lot of vibe. From slow, greasy swirl to sharp, cutting phase, this thing does movement the right way without getting polite or sterile.

These old Ibanez modulation pedals have a raw, organic feel that newer stuff just doesn’t nail. It’s warm, chewy, and sits in a mix like it’s supposed to. This one’s got honest wear from real use. Stomped on, played...not babied. (The LED light needs work)
Only a groovy $160 Canadian

Pictured with an ARC amp, built to be loud, honest, and pedal friendly. no gimmicks, just solid tone.
I'll post more on this amp soon.

This is my first post in a minute. Health knocked me off schedule, but I’m back at it, putting good vintage gear back into circulation. More guitars, amps, and pedals coming soon.

🎸 Throwback to the Underdog:
The Gibson Sonex (1980–1984) 🎸

Not your average Gibson; that’s exactly the point.

Born in the early ‘80s as Gibson’s bold step into affordable innovation, the Sonex broke the mold with its Resonwood body over a mahogany core, delivering killer sustain with a punk-rock attitude.

Built in the USA 🇺🇸, this was Gibson’s answer to changing times - rugged, road-ready, and unapologetically different.

• Available with Velvet Brick or Dirty Fingers humbuckers
• Unique Multi-phonic construction
• Bolt-on neck (unusual for Gibson!)
• Made from 1980–1984 only

Whether you see it as a cult classic or an overlooked gem, the Sonex is pure vintage attitude ....and it’s finally getting the love it deserves.

Come over to the Astro room and check out our massive selection of unique vintage Guitars.

Astro’s on the mend, and we’re back in action!

There’s nothing we love more than getting the right gear into the right hands — and today, we delivered a true vintage gem: a 1969–1970 Fender CFA 7001 PA system.

This classic unit features four channels with mid and low EQ, reverb and gain controls, a VU meter, and selectable reverb — all packed into a beautifully aged chassis. Originally built as a 600W PA amplifier to pair with Fender 7001-C speaker cabinets, it’s found new life as a fantastic guitar and keyboard amp. And yes, it sounds just as good as it looks.

Sorry folks, this one’s already SOLD.

But don’t worry — we’ve got Calgary’s largest and best selection of used vintage gear, including Fender, Gibson, Vox, Marshall, Boss, and more.

Stay tuned… some incredible finds are on the way in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks for sticking with us -Astro

Summertime is all about fun—and so is the Fender Lead! What a perfect match! 🌞

Get ready to feel the nostalgia with the return of a Fender classic—the Lead series
Originally born in the late 1970s and rocking through the early 1980s (1979–1982), the Fender Lead series featured hardtail bridges, full-scale necks, and a sleek double-cut body, making it a standout American electric guitar.

Though its time was short, the guitar world lit up with excitement when the electric purple Fender Lead III made its dazzling debut at Fender’s booth during the 2020 NAMM show.

At Astro Amps, we’re all about the Lead series! Whether you’re into the vintage originals or the fresh modern recreations, these guitars have so much to offer.
Come try ’em out—they’re not just fun, they’re a blast!

Snappy, Fast and light.. The Fender Duo-Sonic🚀

Astro Amps is Calgarys best spot to find Unique and rare models by your favourite guitar brands #fender #gibson #gretsch and #prsguitars
We dig the wild and wacky.

The humble Fender Duo-Sonic is a model we have seen only periodically released by Fender. Originally produced between 1956 until 1969 we didn't see it reappear until the #grunge era of the early 90's (1993-1999) and a short stint from 2008-2011.
Since 2016 we have been once again blessed with these inexpensive, offset Fenders....stoked!!

We would love to have you come by and test out some of the extremely fun models we have for sale.

A huge thank you to all of my customers, friends and followers for your patience with me as I heal from Lyme disease. -Astro
