Alright y’all, brief update! A lot is happenin’ right now and it’s all happenin’ WAY too fast, so I have to keep updating you guys as things develop cuz if I wait until they actually develop (like I did with the mission call opening) too many of us are gonna fall through the cracks and miss stuff 😂 just keep in mind that basically all of the stuff I’m saying is subject to slight changes in timing and that I will make specific details and links available as things solidify 🙏🏾

I have 12 days left before I start my journey as a missionary - in that time I will be doing a ton of rigorous preparation and trying to organize a few events so that I can see all my people and share this experience with y’all before I’m off the grid for 2 years.

On Saturday the 22nd I wanna throw a lil dance party and sing some songs I’ve been working on lately, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for that. I’d live stream the performances and anyone who wants to come and dance is welcome to the party.

On the 23rd at about 12:30pm MDT at the Wilkinson Center on BYU campus I will be giving a talk about a lot of my faith and beliefs such as why the restoration of the gospel matters, the Book of Mormon and my testimony of Jesus Christ. I don’t think this one will be live streamed, but if you wanna come hear me talk or see me one more time before I leave this is a good opportunity to make that happen!

On the 30th at about 10:30am MDT I will be giving my official farewell address in the in the Oak Hill 6th ward. Afterward probably around 1pm mdt there will be a gathering in my neighborhood (most likely at my house) where we can eat and chat and share some good times together! I’ll probably do a little singing at that time as well and tell some interesting stories!!!

Lots of good stuff to come, thanks for caring about me and my little life 😂 I’ll keep yall posted as things develop! 🤩🙏🏾💛

P.S. send me your email if you wanna stay in touch and keep up with what I’m doing between now and 2027 lol by @astroblackman

(1/9) For a few years now I’ve been working on a series of art based on the Angels Saga, the period of my life when I started to develop my spirituality and faith. A huge part of this series are these illustrations of birds and other winged critters, each of which symbolize one of my fairy godsisters who helped and guided me in my journey. While I haven’t finished the series quite yet, I wanted to share the current line up of pieces I have since they’ve basically just been sitting in my portfolio for a couple years now 😅 more to come soon!
