Finally!

No, not finally a hike, but finally I was able to choose these pics out of the endless amount of this beauty on my phone!

God, it was an incredible route!!! And also with a surprise: just the day before I had invited @dieviolinistin to go with me and I had almost no hope she would make it (considering my experience with most other friends who always wanna go so badly, but end up being too busy😅 Musicians 🤷‍♀️), but! Believe it or not, she immediately said “Yes we are going”. 🤌

I. Just. Love. This. Kind. Of. People.

And we did have some things that went totally out of plan, believe me, we DID have adventures. 😁 And I kept telling her “You know, if that’s too much, we can go back anytime, just say it”. But you know what? She never did!! And was always enthusiastic despite everything, and completed this 600m hike like a pro with a smile, even though she hadn’t done hikes here before and actually, frankly speaking, we weren’t equipped properly for this one.

Last Saturday was probably the most beautiful day in months… These sights: you can only catch them once a year, but in this spot it’s just magical. I remembered how as a teen (and in my early 20s) I would dream of visiting such places and it seemed so distant and unreal. And now I live here!!! But on top of that, straight after the hike, rushing from the train station, I happened to catch a breathtaking concert! Was invited last minute, didn’t know the music, but still made it. And oh God, these brilliant artists have absolutely entered my list of favorites… Mind-blowing✨

Now it even feels like too much beauty for just one day…

Well, it is what it is!!!

First hike in TWO MONTHS!!! God, yeah

One of my favourite routes: Zwölferhorn near St. Gilgen

My legs are still aching, but the body and soul (😉) are immensely grateful for this gorgeous physical activity: 900m up and down, stretching session on the top with THE view, and the heavenly frozen yoghurt with fresh berries and homemade caramel sauce to polish the perfect day… 🤌

By the way, if you’re ever in Salzburg, save the recommendation: you’ll be over the moon after this witchy yoghurt 💫
