Ron would have been 80 today♥️! Somedays feel like he has been gone for such a long time…. 18 years now. He left us a legacy when he died that is a beautiful white building on the west side of 75 in Dallas…. Between Walnut Hill and Park Lane. The W.B. Carrell Memorial Hospital and Clinic was what he finished before he closed his eyes for the last time. He wanted to build a place where orthopaedic surgeons could help patients find healing and hope. He was their Administrator and that vacant lot covered with weeds and high grass and trash became the site where it stands today. I have a feeling that he visits and quietly walks those halls even now. I am going to have my right hip replaced in 9 days right there. It brings me peace to know he will find some special way to let me know he is with me always. How blessed we were to have 37 years of marriage, our sons and their families, and a great grandchild who will add to this family in a few months! Happy Birthday, Ronnie Joe. We will teach him or her all about “D’Dad.” Fly high, sweet man💝 by @astudd576

For those who knew and loved this sweet lady, she turned 103 years this passed Saturday. Here she is celebrating this special day🥰. She was eager to begin her new book SARITA, by NATALIE Musgrave DOSSETT. She lives outside of Houston with her daughter in Friendswood. She has two grandsons and 6 great-grands!!
