@buchtdertraeumerfestival , du hast mal wieder bewiesen, dass du einen ganz besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen hast ❤️

Vielen Dank an alle, die zu meinem Liveset gekommen sind. Die letzten Monate in der Vorbereitung waren teilweise echt hart, aber es hat sich so sehr gelohnt.
Danke für die tolle Stimmung trotz 36°. ✨☀️

Auch außerhalb vom Gig gab es so viele schöne Momente. Die Bühnen, die Musik, die Stimmung und einfach alles drumherum haben das Wochenende wieder zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Ganz viel Liebe an alle, die dieses Festival jedes Jahr möglich machen. 🫶

Da eine No Photo Policy herrscht und ich das natürlich respektieren möchte, gibt’s keine Fotos vom Festival. Dafür mich beim Katern und dem Versuch, langsam wieder klarzukommen haha. 😬

What a journey →

Two hours before my set on Saturday evening, it was pouring rain and looked like the end of the world. Of course, my main USB stick decided to stop working right then, and my laptop wouldn’t read it anymore. Great. Perfect timing. 😁

But then the sky cleared, the sun came out, and luckily my backup USB with the playlist worked just fine. I was still pretty nervous when I started, but the set went just as I’d hoped. :)

I had such a good time playing, heard so many great sets and had so many lovely conversations. ✨🙏🏼

I love it so much, and I’m so happy to still be part of all this after all these years. ❤️

Atric hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren mit seinem eigenen Mix aus melodischen, verspielten und etwas dunkleren elektronischen Sounds einen festen Platz in der Szene erspielt. Ob als DJ oder Live-Act – seine Sets leben von viel Gefühl für Melodie, Groove und Atmosphäre. Veröffentlichungen auf Stil vor Talent und Tipping Point gehören ebenso zu seinem aktuellen Weg. Auch auf den Line-ups zahlreicher Clubs und Festivals ist er inzwischen regelmäßig zu finden und bringt dabei seine ganz eigene Mischung aus Energie und Atmosphäre auf den Dancefloor.

Sein Set von der Bucht der Träumer 2026 passt da bestens in unsere Festivalwoche. Besonders schön: Atric hat erst kürzlich einen Remix für die erste EP von Mystic Creatures beigesteuert. Er nahm sich dabei „Mystic Island“ von Rad.Lez vor und verpasste dem Track seine eigene Handschrift. Doch jetzt aber erstmal zurück zur Bucht und zu diesem schönen Mitschnitt. Jetzt noch mal einen kühlen Kopf bewahren und dann geht’s endlich los zum @buchtdertraeumerfestival 🎉

Die letzten Wochen waren intensiv, aber das Live Set steht und ich konnte es beim @cosyfestival auch schon testen!

sehen uns Samstag von 16:30 - 17:30 beim Porto Loco.

Ich freu mich so sehr darauf 😍

PS: Es gibt sogar einen Track, der „Porto Loco“ heißt. Bin sehr gespannt, wie er ankommt haha by @at.ric

Honestly, today should’ve been a great day.
My new release “Shine” just came out.
But it doesn’t feel that way, because something has changed. :/

Beatport has different genre categories, Indie Dance, Tech House, Melodic Techno, and so on. Releasing in the right genre matters. It’s how DJs discover you, how you build a sound you’re recognized for, how you end up next to artists who actually make music like yours.

Up until now, we as a label decided which category we released into. For years, that was Indie Dance for me, the place I belong. ✨

Not anymore. Beatport now decides for us where the release gets published, and my track “Shine” just got placed under Mainstage, next to artists like David Guetta. WTF?

On what basis?
No idea. It feels completely random,
and there’s not much I can do about it.
My music doesn’t fit there. And next time it could be something else entirely, Tech House, Melodic Techno, whatever. No consistency, no control.
It feels so strange that now even the genre I produce in is being decided for me, not by me.

Maybe Beatport has a clear system behind this. I doubt it.

But yeah, “Shine” is out now, and I hope the big EDM players will love it 😬

I know this post is a bit nerdy, but it’s been on my mind a lot.

Family trip to Zürich, we really enjoyed it with you! ✨
