In Memory 9-11

Many moons ago I went to the top of the observation deck and visited the trade center for the first time.

Something that sticks in my mind to this day.

From the shear size of the towers to the elevator ride. I can still picture the view from the observation deck up top. Looking out on the city.

And where I was the morning the attack happened.

I had just walked in to a homeowners house with a guy named Will to complete a Job.

I often wonder where Will from Baltimore is now. As I lost contact with him.

The lady that answered the door said omg come watch the news we are under attack.

I like many had a couple of family members working here in finance and fortunately one made it out.

The other was on vacation the week this happened. But had many friends and colleagues affected.

The phones were down and it took many days to get a hold of anyone.

This wasn’t the first attack either. And security measures had been taken. Just not from planes.

The pictures are taken from the top and bottom with a disposable Kodak camera.

Rip to everyone who passed. Or anyone affected.

This forever changed the route of the world.

And let’s also remember how the USA actually came together and many Men and Women joined the armed forces.

🕯9-11-22

I Happened to be here when all the newest Law enforcement 👮‍♀️ officers were being sworn in. A Very emotional day.

25 years since. A day that forever changed our society.

I first visited the World Trade Center in the early 1990’s. Had family working the day of the tragedy in the towers and remember very vividly exactly where I was the morning of. And all that has came after.

🙏🙏📿 rest easy
